And this... is yet another Joker.
You probably won't recognize Jeri, she's an OC for a thing I haven't gotten to posting status yet. I forget how much of this one I've talked about on tumblr, but she was gonna be a magical girl, until someone flubbed the binding spell. Now she's just being targeted by the baddies who still want her blood for some reason.
The continued procession of Jokers is surely just because I think they're neat, and not for any other reason. Don't ask why I keep pointing that out.

There are multiple, but sometimes they're the same. Cubes are flexible like that.
"... Right. Anyway. Being a self-insert was... an odd experience. It meant rather little as far as I could tell directly - I was still born and raised in Eorzea and knew nothing of Earth. The only time it ever became relevant was in the Murderverse, when Meowing here first appeared to me and I felt this intrusive, all-consuming rage at her very existence.
"... I really couldn't explain why, now. She's just slightly annoying sometimes when she feels like it, not... anything that would merit such animosity."
All my self-inserts hate each other. I think that was originally a subconscious expression of my awful self-esteem, but now it's just a running gag because it's funny.

Anyway, the fact that being a self-insert meant so little to Vivi is one of the top reasons I decided to make her not be one anymore. All the interesting stuff was the other stuff.

This is a Balatro Joker of Vivi, my WoL, in her early days as a Conjurer. Conjuror? I forget which way XIV spells it. In-game her glasses are red, but I already gave red glasses to Leaf in this mod, so it's been changed to purple.
There's probably no particular reason why this is two Jokers in a row.

It's almost impossible to make it out unscathed when it comes to living in the Neath, and not everything can be fixed with just a cuppa and a stint in the Beth (for given value of "fixed" when the Beth is involved). For all the strange things your characters have gone through, what are some strange things they do to cope?
Inessa, of course, is big on wine, honey, and generally partying. As scandalously as possible, ideally.

im loving everyone's rpf stories (ignore the fact that i forgot the pc literally has a book written about them in the shadowy myn) everyone's pcs are just too mysterious/charismatic/weird/deranged to NOT have fanfic written about them.
Inessa definitely has some RPF written about her after she becomes POSI. It's mostly crackfic because even when she reaches max Persuasive she doesn't really have a "fandom", so the writers don't really have any consensus about her personality.

Where is your character originally from? Did they move to the Neath from the surface? Were they present for the fall of a city? Were they born in the Neath? Are they from London, or somewhere else?
Inessa is originally from the surface. I haven't pinned down exactly where, someplace in England though. Near enough to London that she could travel down there when she heard about that cow-sized diamond.
The Saiyan cautiously approaches. Her tail is wrapped around her stomach like a belt, and the tip of it twitches slowly as she watches a group of people, before making her presence known by speaking to the group.
"Are any of you fighters?"
"I am!" A... grade-school girl(?) jumps out of the crowd and starts to approach the unfamiliar woman - only to trip and fall on her face. "oof"
"You are not, Jeri" a muffled voice grumbles while a calico cat bites the girl's ankle and seemingly tries to pull her back... oh, the voice was the cat. "Not even if I'd been training you since day one."
Jeri sits up and folds her arms, huffing. "Come on, Romeo, how else am I supposed to get stronger other than fighting practice?"
The cat's - Romeo's tail lashes. "As sparring partners go, a random woman who is clearly massively beyond your skill level is rather less than ideal." His ear twitches. "But I forget my manners."
He hops up onto a nearby fence to address the stranger at something closer to eye level. "As you no doubt heard, my name is Romeo. I wouldn't exactly call myself a fighter, but if you're looking for a sparring partner, I believe my skills would be perfectly adequate to the task."
{Journey} Leaf, Scarlex, did it suck being put on opposite teams for the training exercises?
"Not in the slightest. In fact, it meant I knew Leaf wouldn't try holding back against me."
"... Mostly same, but Scar can be scary when she gets competitive. Motivating, though."

"Slightly alarming! Having a magic weapon I can call to hand whenever I want is cool, but summoning it instinctively just because Jel was being a bitch... there was no way that would've ended well if I hadn't done something.
"As much as it feels kind of a waste to just give it up, it's not like I need a magical spear on a regular basis. I'm not getting in real fights with giant monsters every other day or anything."
