This was it, even her loosest clothes didn’t hide the now obvious bump on her stomach. No more claims that she was staying at a friend’s, or sneaking out before her parents woke up and getting home after they’d fallen asleep. She was amazed she even made it this far, but now she was hiding out at Tim Hortons drinking hot chocolate and staring out the window, procrastinating going home. Her coat wouldn’t fully zip in front of her, so she gave up and took it off completely. She looked up when someone approached her, giving them a weak smile. “Did you want to sit?” she offered. “I could use some company.”
