the original Francis laughed lightly, the others sort of starting to meld together] Which would you prefer? Toni or Antonio? I’d hate to be rude and call you by the wrong name just because you’re happy to be recognized.
[When Toni began to ramble, the Francis group all held out their hands to slow Toni down, though only the original spoke] I think I just heard about you on the radio. I only recognize your face from the brochure here. [He unfolded a small pamphlet with info on some of the members of the brotherhood that were holding ‘mutant-friendly’ events and protests in town] I’m not a member, but they sometimes invite me because I know a lot of people. Networking is easy since there are a lot of me. I can meet a lot of people at the same time.
[He grouped himself back together entirely and held out his hand, not thinking about the fact that Toni’s arms were full of papers, and gave a somewhat flirty grin] I’m the most wonderful person you’ll ever meet~! Francis Bonnefoy. Originally from Nice, France, but I moved here a long time ago… It’s a pleasure.
[Which would he rather be called? He wondered... It had been a while since anyone called him Toni, and it made him feel pretty happy. With a cheerful grin he assured him:] Toni is fine! Really!
[He looked at the offered hand and laughed sheepishly, his hands full of paper and he used his butt to wiggle the door to his apartment open:]
Uh, haha... it’s great to meet you Francis, but my hands are kinda full here?
[The greatest person you’ll ever meet? He sounded a little full of himself, but he was asking for a favor so he kept his cheerful smile, and talked a bit more about himself, too. Either way, anyone who was sticking up for mutant rights and collaborating with the Brotherhood couldn’t be a bad person!]
Antonio Fernández-Carriedo, better known as the Mutant Rights Activist. I also do Animal Rights Activism... Hmm, let’s see... I was born here, but my mother is from Spain. I’ve been here my whole life!... I love this place... I just wish... [his expression faltered and he chuckled dryly]... I just wish this place loved me, too? [And almost as quickly as his smile left it returned and with a pep in his step he set the papers down on a table and ran into his room to search for disguises, and he called out:]
Sit, sit, I’ll get you some stuff for your copies to wear!!
