I was wondering if there's any place here in Uganda that sells tim tams.. and also pillows, maybe?

I've been craving tim tams since I landed!! :((( and, I just found a giant dead bug in my pillow, haha...

Wait, are there like, any stores here? Like, at all?

Tim tams? Gee, that’s a throwback, hah! I haven’t had those in ages . I don’t know if there’s any place you can buy Tim tams , but if I were to ask anyone I’d ask Elder Thomas when he gets back from Utah . He’s always stocked up on pop tarts , I imagine he probably knows a way to get some Tim Tams as well.

as for pillows is a few spares in the back room!

What are your opinions on all the new elders??? I'm talking hopkins, nelson, olive, and mclovin!!! this is totally coming from an unbiased anonymous tumblr user who totallyyy isn't connected to any of those blogs and even if i was youll never know who i am >:DD

oh! Well if im being honest I think they are all just such great characters. Both of the sister are so pleasant and friendly , and though I’m not completely sure if elder Nelson knows why he’s here , he’s still just a joy to be around. Elder Mclovin is- uhm well he’s here too now.. he’s got a personality alright . Thanks everyone I think?

Elder Davis was probably right to send you over my way, not to toot my own horn but I would consider myself to be the most organised person around here.

Yep, I'm one of the new missionaries. I'm uh, still not sure exactly why I got sent here... but y'know! I've just been going along with whatever happens, haha!

I'm glad that there's an organised person I can ask questions to! I have a slight feeling that Elder Davis might not like me because I forgot Joseph Smith's name... haha...uhm..

I you were to dye your hair a different colour, what colour would you dye it? Obviously your hair is gorgeous as it is :) but hypothetically what colour?

uhm.. I don’t really know . Despite not actually liking my hair color I have no clue what I’d change it too. Maybe brunette? But then I’d kinda just look like I’m copying everyone else here ..

It’s been pretty weird with working out stuff like that since we were technically shut down , though the people running things back in Utah kinda forgot to actually get rid of the district, so we’re all still here, heh-. How’s your mission been so far?

As for my mission, It’s been… an experience. I can’t say I’ve done much ‘mission’ stuff at all. It’s mostly just been a mix of trying to figure out what happened and dealing with the mess that the mission training centre left us in… I’m trying to keep a positive attitude though! Whether I like or not I’m stuck here, so I might as well make the most of my time away from home! Fortunately all the elders I’ve spoken to so far have been very friendly, which is quite reassuring, though being new is still a bit nerve wracking when everyone seems to already have established bonds with each other…

I understand the feeling don’t worry, gosh I remember when I first got here like it was yesterday . I know it may seem a little intimidating now but I can assure you, everyone here is super welcoming . It’s a pity you can’t meet a couple of my closest friends, they’ve headed back to Utah for a uhm- family visit, they should be back soon though.

It was weird to be back, and even weirder to have an empty house, considering his dad wasn't...* *He sighed as he crawled pitifully onto his bed, burying his face in the pillow. His chest hurt. His throat hurt. His eyes were red and burning, although he hadn't been crying. He briefly considered pulling out the bottles he'd brought with him, but eventually decided it would be too risky right now.* *It was late, he knew that, so he pulled out his phone to check the time. It was almost one in the morning, making it ten in the morning for the rest of the Elders. McKinley was probably awake. Josh was probably awake too.* *He really didn't want to bother Elder Thomas or Elder Church, so he couldn't text them. Josh hated him, so there was no use in that. He didn't know any of the new Elders very well, and he wasn't close with anybody else, so that left only one option.* *Reluctantly, Robert opened his contacts and called Elder McKinley.* @elderconnor-mckinley
