hello rpc! tis i, periwinkle, here with my first public theme in a very long time. i’m proud to present 𝒎𝒐𝒐𝒏𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒎. there are two versions of this theme, so please heed the notes accordingly.

notes: both of these themes are nearly identical, the only difference is version two only has the posts tab and the ask / submit tab. if you’re using version one and you want the info in your tabs to be formatted, format them in a tumblr text post, then go to the HTML text editor and copy what is there.

this theme was made wholly with the rpc in mind, especially after dumblr turned into a dumpster fire making it very hard for people in the community to do basic things like send asks. i’ve tried to make this theme as manageable as possible in the meta section, down to the font size and font family for specific (italic, bold etc) groups. if you have any issues at all, feel free to IM me or send me an ask here or over on my main blog @starszakrew.

hello rpc! tis i, zelda, here again with psds! i present FIVE PASTEL PSDS that WON’T WHITEWASH! these psds are based around the witcher’s lighting, so if you’re going to use them for other media you may need to adjust them.

notes :  there’s a bonus psd to help with the scene from 1.04 labeled witcher lighting is bad lighting, as well as a layer at the very bottom of every psd labeled more skin tone to try and counteract the whitewashing from most of the scenes she’s in. turn this layer off for scenes from the end of 1.03.

HOW TO UN-WHITEWASH ANYA CHALOTRA

there’s a scene in 1.04 of netflix’s adaptation of the witcher which is notorious for its horrible lighting / color grading, and a lot of people have been having issues coloring the scene. SO, here’s a quick guide to help everyone out ! the cap i’ll be using in this particular example is this one :

you may need to alter things a little bit because honestly the color grading changed frame by frame and shot by shot. so ! let’s get started. 

once you’ve got your caps open in photoshop, open a selective color layer. once you’ve got that open, go to the little menu and change it from reds to neutrals. take the cyan slider and drag it down, between -20 to -15. i personally settled on -20. it gave me this result.

then make another selective color layer and slide the red slider between 5 to 10, i chose 8. that should give you something like this.

then take the yellow slider and put it somewhere between 5 to 10. i chose 9 and it gave me this. 

finally, make a brightness and contrast layer. take your contrast slider and put it anywhere between 15 to 25. i chose 25 and it gave me this.

in three easy steps! keep in mind you may need to adjust depending on your psd! stay safe out there y’all, and don’t whitewash!
