The Mejiros and their love interests are so awesome to me because NONE of the love interests are like. who you’d expect the rich classy prim and proper girls to be with. Looking at all of them individually you could assume their date is the outcast at the family function if you didn’t know all of them were like that

Who’s with McQueen, the perfect Mejiro, the epitome of grace? Her rival is the cocky, attention seeking brat of a racer who cleans up pretty well in a tux but will complain about it the entire time. The girl whos obsessed with her likes to swap out sea urchin spins with chestnut shells and regularly kidnaps people to go on marine adventures

What about Dober, the cool and strong hearted girl with a hidden artistic side? Well you see, there’s this himejoshi who loves umamusume more than anything in the world and has a passion for rpf who keysmashes verbally in conversation

How about Ardan, the kind and classy gentlelady with a frail constitution and a powerful will? Well her roommate is this dog coded airhead who collects stickers and likes making up sayings that don’t really make sense to anyone but her and she cannot pick up on subtext to save her life

Well what about Ryan? Her working class roommate who’s seen as an older sister by about seventy percent of the school and is actively juggling like six part time jobs

Palmer? Zoomer best friend with skibidi lingo who likes to dj and is pining endlessly over another rich girl

Bright? She’s mostly doing her own thing tbh

And Ramonu, the first ever triple tiara winner, the mysterious and aloof beauty, the Mejiro all others look up to as an ideal noblelady?

Note: This is just a final concept WIP. I'll finish each card after the concept for all cards is done.

III - The Empress: Glaurica

The empress always focuses a lot on motherhood. But how many loving mothers are there even in the series??? Besides Glaurica, Pyrrha I thought would fit this card as well. But I'm already having a familial piece in mind for the 10 of cups with her.

So, ultimately I chose Glaurica. I thought the very early scene where Harrow reads the Emperor's invitation letter that makes Glaurica cry about her son is a good fit for this card. Ortus ended up looking a bit derpy so I'll have to adjust his face for the final card lol.
