Eleanor looked at Eilidh, it wasn't pity she was feeling to look at the girl in front of her, upset. It was more of a 'I've been there before feeling', it didn't even take her long to think about it, she just grabbed her phone out of her duffle bag and passed it to Eilidh. "Here, call him on mine."

"I didn’t realise.. did it happen? Did he.. the guy, did he rape you? I don’t know, he gave up on me pretty quickly.. I barely understand why half the time.."

"Yeah, it happened-- but what was good is that this placed here really helped me recover. Have you tried talking to him? Maybe he hasn't given up on you.."

"What’s that supposed to mean, Eleanor? I love him.. I still love him, I need him.. why doesn’t he need me anymore? Why did he do that? He said he loved me… he promised.."

"I completely understand that. Back a couple of years ago, I was with this guy.. George. Instead of him getting raped, he told the rapist he could rape me instead.. I still loved him for quite some time, actually.. but point is from that is, sometimes the people we love the most, hurt us and that for some strange reason doesn't stop us from loving them or from needing them. Because for some unknown reason, we can't stop loving them, no matter how bad they hurt us and with that comes time... and I wouldn't say that he doesn't need you, honey. He does need you if he told you that he loved you.. he can't just give up on you just like that."

"My own boyfriend was convinced that I was lying because I didn’t want to admit that I had cheated on him.. I have nobody.. there’s nobody here that cares about me.. they don’t care.."

"Well that just shows that type of person he is then, doesn't it? Don't say you have nobody, you have plenty of people.. You wouldn't be under our care if we didn't care about you. I know what you're going through, and I know it feels like you have nobody, nobody to talk to or open up to.. but I can assure you that people are here to help you and take care of whatever it is you need. If you ever want to get out of here for the day or want a change of food we can make that happen, anything you need you just let me know and I'll do whatever it is you need so you don't feel like you have nobody. "I read a story once about a girl who died in a school shooting because she believed in God. When I get asked if I believed in God, I get raped— Why do bad things happen to people who believe?"
