[ lili reinhart, cis female, she/her ] - was that eleanor 'ellieâ marino i saw by the lighthouse today? i heard that the twenty-six year old who has been in nightrest for two months and works as a paramedic has a reputation of being adroit, but also stubborn. they reside in low point & people in town usually associate them with being the sunshine in everyone elseâs life, the lingering scent of the ocean amidst sandy blonde waves, legs dangling over a board as the calmness at sunrise consumes the tidal rise and fall. Â
BIOGRAPHY
The youngest child, Isabella Rose Marino was born into a very loving and stable household that prided themselves on helping their community in Savannah, Georgia, in any and every way they could. Often to the point where they gave more of themselves away to their projects than they did themselves. Though this in itself was a blessing in disguise for Isabella and her sister; it brought them closer together for a time, taught them to put duty first and most important of all, the value of family. While some may have detested growing up in the shadow of their sibling, Isabella was quite the opposite. She used it to her advantage. While her parents were too busy dealing with their own shenanigans, she was burying her head in her studies and sneaking out to college parties at night. And while she never resented her parents for their parenting, she did long for parents that saw her for the intelligent, determined, and ambitious young woman she was very quickly becoming.
The blonde didnât seem to have any trouble making friends throughout her high school years. Her warm, inquisitive nature in hand with her quick witted remarks, something she picked up off her sister, meant she slipped right in. Effortlessly maintaining high grades and diving into as many extra-curricular activities, it was evident from a young age that Isabella held a bright future ahead of her. Unlike her parents she knew what she wanted from a young age and that was to simply help people. She thought perhaps as a doctor, but the idea of needles very quickly put her off. It wasnât until she was walking home from school one day and witnessed a car accident, quickly dialing for an ambulance that arrived in a flurry of lights and sirens. Two paramedics stepped out of the ambulance and effortlessly went about triaging their patients, with not a sign of stress upon their brows. And that was it, the youngest Marino wanted to become one of them.
That same year however, her world would come crashing down around her, with but one knock upon the door. She remembers it as if it were yesterday, the screaming and yelling from her mother, followed by the abrupt slam of doors and the screech of tires on the road beyond their home. The truth of what was unfolding between her parents would not come to light until many years later. The man that she had once looked up too, had a whole other family waiting in the wings. However as her fathers betrayal faded and she looked toward high school graduation, her curiosity remained silent and unfaltering. Bigger and better things were on the horizon.
Attending university was but an opportunity to leave the family nest and step out of her comfort zone. College gave her purpose and was but another step on the pathway to chasing her dream of working on the ambulance. All the while she kept in touch with sister and mother, heading home for dinner every Sunday when her study schedule allowed it. Her studies offered an escape, and she very quickly immersed herself in the college lifestyle. Before she knew it she was three years deep into her study and preparing to graduate. Graduating and getting the first role she had applied for were two moments she didnât ever think she could possibly beat. That was until she started working on the ambulance after all those years of volunteering while at college. It could really only be explained as a feeling like coming home. A feeling that was relived upon the decision to move in search of the brothers she never knew she had. Family would forever be important for the Marinoâs. Moving into her own loft had been a leap of faith, but one that ended up paying off nevertheless. In a new city where crime seemed to be rife, it was never a dull moment, especially for a young ambitious paramedic. Â
