I really liked the idea of Ajaw looking like a little sun and Kinich like the moon but at the same time Kinich is the light (sun) that saved Ajaw from the darkness, I find it quite poetic ✨

So here's a little sketch about it 💖💕

I'm very proud of how this came out and I'm sure Kamina would be proud too ✨💖💕

Below I'll list all the reasons why I think Kinich is inspired by Gurren Lagann 💘

1. The iconic Gurren Lagann pose ✨

2. Ajaw's sunglasses during the burst, like Kamina's iconic ones

3. Kinich is the only male character in Genshin with big eyelashes, guess who also has them?

That's right, the great Kamina himself ✨

4. Kinich's earrings remind me of the Gurren Lagann drills ✨

5. Kamina's tattoos - Kinich's nightsoul

6. Simon finds Nia inside a box, like a treasure ✨

This reminds me of how Kinich found Ajaw (I'm drawing a lil sketch about it hehe) 💕

7. Instead of a big mecha, Kinich has Ajaw

8. "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM" Iconic quote that you can hear often in the whole series and I think Ajaw would be happy to contribute

9. Gurren Lagann being about the drill that will pierce the heavens
