I think there's something to be said for the fact that although Wilbur definitely wants to kill Dream he... Physically can't. And I don't mean anything to do with being revived, I mean /Wilbur is not a fighter./ Wilbur isn't just a man of words by habit but by necessity. That's why he opted for a power play in the prison instead of beating the shit out of dream like in his fantasy: he knows it wouldn't work.

This is mostly to say I love all the fanart that implies Big Q and Wilbur are gonna kill Dream together, because of the mental image of Wilbur tagging along as Quackity's hypeman despite having no applicable skills is, to say the least, exquisite.
