Friendly reminder that you do not have to be on adventures and experience new things all the time. You might feel this pressure to do "cool" things every day just so you can tell other people what you did. But darling, you should live your life for yourself, not for the stories you might be able to tell. All you really need to do is be. Be in the moment. Be kind to yourself. Be there for yourself. Listen to your soul, listen to what it craves. Go on adventures and explore the world for the right reasons. Rest and recover when your body tells you to. I know that sometimes when you stand still, there can be a lot of uneasiness, because you think you have to go somewhere and do something amazing. But remember: It is absolutely okay to have days where all you do is breathe and take it easy. There is so much meaning in the slow days as well, my love.
It’s not your job to figure out people and why the mistreat you, your responsibility is to get out of harm’s way and start doing what’s right for you.
“You’ll just keep crashing if you don’t take your eyes off the rear view mirror.”
— Leo Christopher
Your time will come. Until then, be calm. Breathe. Trust what is coming.
Nicole Addison
We pay taxes for already taxed money we worked for, and properties we acquired with taxed money using taxed money.
An honest enemy is better than a deceitful friend.
“Be willing to go alone sometimes. You don’t need permission to grow. Not everyone who started with you will finish with you. And that’s OK.”
— M. Scott Peck
Traits of Mentally Strong People
1. They are able to stay calm, and maintain self-control.
2. They have clear boundaries between themselves and other people.
3. They don’t become defensive, or feel completely crushed, when someone is critical of them or their work.
4. They are flexible, and willing to adapt to other people.
5. They know their limitations, and are happy to be helped.
6. They forgive themselves when things go wrong – and then move on with life.
7. They don’t bear grudges, or play games with people’s feelings.
8. They are responsible, persistent, and committed to their goals.
Some Things I’ve Learned in Life
1. Sometimes bad things happen to good people. Awful things that you didn’t deserve. And there was nothing you could do to stop it happening.
2. You may think that you know someone really well, but they may be hiding their true self from you. People can deceive us if they want to deceive us. They can cover up their tracks, and can conceal what’s in their heart. Even people we love deeply can lead a double life.
3. We need to process the past, to make peace with the past. Repression, and pretending, only stop us moving on. We stay stuck in our trauma, and our silent suffering.
4. Letting go isn’t easy. You can go for therapy. You can try to feel the feelings. You can want to start again. But it’s never quite as easy as you hope it’s going to be.
5. You need to listen to your heart, as well as take advice from others. We’re all on different pathways, and we all had different starts. What helped one individual might not resonate with you. Keep searching, and keep trying to find what works for you.
6. Believe in you. The real, true you. Not the false or distorted self people have sometimes ascribed to you. That isn’t who you are; don’t give away your power.

Remember that post? The one that said “what if we all have super powers but they’re so mundane we don’t realize?” That post? This is proof that post was right
“When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew.”
— Arrigo Boito
“You are what you do, not what you say you’ll do.”
