What pet colour feels the most iconically Neopets to you? Like, sure, other pet sites let you make red pets and blue pets, but only Neopets would have THIS colour! I recognise that a lot of the pet colours may have unsavoury or outright harmful themes, unfortunately, but that aside, and not so much a personal favourite, but similar to the Aisha - what colour just screams Neopets? Bonus points: What colour do you hate with a passion and you wish it was never introduced and dear lord why did they think THAT colour was a good idea??
starry is THE neopets color for me. not only does it rep the star motif of the site, but a blue color with yellow stars just feels so neopets.
but in terms of a wholely unique pet color, mutant takes the cake. with how fleshy, oozy, wrinkly, and bizarre the designs are it really emphasizes that edginess of old and the idea that this isn't a by the numbers pet care website. you can literally give your pet a potion made by an evil dictator that turns them into a grotesque abomination and then dress them up in a tutu. that's neopets for you.
as for the worst pet color, island is iconic in a bad way. infamous one might say. if i was being kind i'd say it's dated. if i was being real i'd say it's horribly racist. at least with boring colors like biscuit or trypophobic nightmares like strawberry they're not outwardly offensive to anything but your eyes. but a pet color that upholds the institution of systemic racism through stereotyping is an easy pick for the worst one by an absolute landslide.
