All Day, Everyday

As a film major, I am constantly interacting with technological interfaces. I sometimes take advantage of the amount that my studies and day to day life, revolves around technology. Of course, to older generations I constantly hear about how attached people my age are to technology and its often been a point of reflection for me. Have I become so immersed into technology that I can’t ever do anything without it? But most often I think that I have learned to adapt to a culture and a society that has grown to be co-dependent and in some cases completely dependent on or technological frenemies. The reality is, that without developing skills with technology I wouldn't be developing in my major and even bigger than that I would be lacking the skills to be successful within society and culture as we see it today.

Change is a Continuum

We live in a world that is ever changing. So much happens on a day to day basis its often hard to keep up with it. But as our surroundings change our minds change. We often don’t know what to do with new information that differs from our pre-existing frameworks and we find ourselves in quite confusing and awkward positions. But what can you do about change? Almost nothing, its the only constant in life. Almost just as constant as technology. As our society grows and continues to develop, much of what we do grows and develops with it. Its survival, dependence, and the continuum of technology as we enter a new era.
