Webkinz confirms the use of Generative AI

Apologies it's been a while. Both mods have been pretty busy with life stuff but I felt it was important to post this.

For a while many people have pointed out that various backgrounds and other assets seen in game and in various social media posts have used generative AI. Webkinz and Ganz have been fairly silent on the issue until recently, confirming that they have in fact used generative AI.

They claim they only had two options for the Arte video which was to use AI or have no video at all which simply isn't true. They did not HAVE TO use AI, the CHOSE to use AI.

They also claim to not use AI for in game items which simply isn't true. Items from NEXT and classic have been shown to use AI images. Here are some reddit posts with more info.

I am so disappointed in Ganz and Webkinz at this decision to continue to use AI despite the overwhelming community disapproval of it. I urge anyone who is able to to give them feedback about this. Tell them that AI does not belong Webkinz.
