When we realize what we were before Christ and what we deserved in that state, it further magnifies the enormity of the gospel for us.
Paul Washer (via thesovereignword)
We are secure, not because we hold tightly to Jesus, but because he holds tightly to us.
R.C. Sproul (via thesovereignword)

Christian masterpost!!!!
You know what’s amazing? No matter how long you have gone without talking to God, without being in His presence, as soon as you turn back to Him, He is right there. With open arms, just waiting for you. And then He embraces you, and you can feel His overwhelming love. His peace and comfort, and everything is okay again.
He’s a really good God.Â
“And everything is okay again” I need this.Â
How unfair and selfish is it to want God to forgive you of everything you’ve ever done and not want to show that same kind of forgiveness towards others?
Even when my soul is in the valley of despair, there is joy to be had. Even when my eyes are filled with tears, my lungs are breathing air to laugh. Even when I am lost in worry over this world and my life, my God you have found me.
People who go to hell deserve to be there. People who go to heaven do not deserve to be there. The first is justice, the second is grace.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.Â
It does not dishonor others,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects,
always trusts,
always hopes,
always perseveres.
Love never fails.
Can you please pray for me? I have anxiety/OCD and I'm very analytical and recently I can't stop analyzing everything, like words, colors, people. Like there's no reason for me to do this but I can't stop :/
okay! praying!
