Activities for gloomy days: Only took me about 2 (possibly 3?) years to get to this pile of mending that’s been moving around my apartment from armchair to bedside and back again, waiting for me to deal with “any moment” now. (All thrift-store purchases that didn’t fit but I told myself would be “quick” alterations.) At last I can stop flashing everyone from the too-long straps on all my dresses (or looking very stiff at parties because I’m trying to keep my posture straight so I don’t flash everyone lol) 🌧🌧🌧 https://ift.tt/2q9c2hD

My mom made asparagus yesterday because that’s what was on sale at the store, & automatically dressed it in garlic & soy sauce. My sister & I were like, you know most people do this with salt, pepper, & olive oil (hint hint) but mom just stared at us blankly like “does not compute,” then was like, “I know but I think vegetable always taste better with garlic and soy sauce.” She also brought up her own gallon jug of soy sauce because she doesn’t like the kind my sister buys. https://ift.tt/335ebJ6
