Inbox AU stories Back in October 2022, someone sent a message about what would happen in a Shattered Glass version of what I wrote and it snowballed into multiple AU storylines.

Anon SG fanfic emporium (Astoria, Raoul, and Jazz get stuck in the SG universe storyline, madness ensues. This has two versions, the regular TF version and humanformers. Gets dark at times.)

Actor AU (The anon SG fanfic is a TV show and this is about the actors behind the show.)

Crime Thriller AU (Nightbeat is tasked with solving Proteus Prime's murder.)

Megatron vs Soundwave AU (Soundwave falls in love with Optimus Prime and challenges Megatron's unresolved feelings towards him.)

Ratchet MED (Focus on Ratchet running medical, also he did a DNA test and he and Astoria Carlton-Ritz turn out to be related.)

Daycare AU (Optimus Prime and Kup run a daycare, along with Megatron as well as Optimus Primal.)

Shattered Glass x2 (SG universe ramped up.)

Spike's Mom Has Got It Going On (Spike's parents are divorced and his mother named Lillian catches the eye of the Stunticons but she certainly doesn't mind.)

Star Crossed AU (Windblade gets sparked by Starscream and the two's relationship comes to light.)

TFA AU (Optimus is left behind on the spider planet instead of Elita-1 and Rodimus was unintentionally made leader of the Earth crew.)

Been a minute since I've posted any art, but here's Moonrock of the Astro Squad and my human OC, Ettie, chilling and looking up at some sky somewhere out in the galaxy. Moonrock seems like he'd be a good dude to chill with.

I should get back into drawing more of the Astro Squad.

@jubs here, today, to tell you about a feature we're building: Comments by author!

Comments (or replies) have been around for a while, but they have always been tucked away from your regular feed, and so we're working on a few ways to integrate them into the rest of our experience.

Soon, blogs will have a Comments tab alongside Posts, Likes, and Following. There, you will be able to see posts other people have been commenting on, and, more importantly, find your own comments! This was not possible before, except through notifications if someone engaged with your comment.

We're also working on a way to surface posts commented on by people you follow in your feeds. You will be able to find those in the For You tab, and later, alongside chronological posts in the Following tab.

So, how do you identify those posts in the feeds? 

Replied posts will show a small preview right there in your dashboard, before you click anything. 

This is not out yet, but soon! In the meantime, tell us what you think and expect from this! ☺︎

please tell us that we can toggle the visibility on/off like we can do with likes and following.

A big benefit of having comments enabled for all blogs is this will increase accountability and quality of comments because each blog would now think twice before writing a toxic comment, knowing it will be visible to everyone. If we make this opt-in, then we will lose this benefit and both spammers and trolls will continue their current behavior and limited accountability

This is awful reasoning, fyi. Big "if you're not doing anything bad, why do you not want what you're saying broadcasted?" energy that will make this site worse.

Tumblr already has the very useful option to delete replies that I love using for scammy or rude notes left on my posts. This is an unnecessary step.

My project for Beast Wars' 30th anniversary: a series of embroidered keychains! Hopefully I can have everyone done by September 16th.

I did have Megatron done and he fit... But he was too obviously my first attempt, so I plan to try again. Dinobot looks much better framed plain. I think Rattrap is my best so far. For Optimus to fit, I could only fit the screw through both prongs by only using one screw. I am learning!

Waspinator and Quickstrike are done!

Really getting a lot of use out of that coppery floss as I've used it for Dinobot, Rattrap, Quickstrike, and be using it for Rhinox.

Megatron take 2 will probably be next. Maybe Airazor and Blackarachnia after him.

I wonder how often other people get asked about breeding their dogs. I'm not going to say it's one of the more frequent comments I get about Tova, but it's been more than once. She is a very unique and good-looking dog with a pretty calm and quiet temperament though very active and trim, so I do understand why people would be curious. And people probably don't bother asking children walking their dog if their family breeds puppies.

Someone even made a light comment about her having cute puppies with her Rottweiler (both are rescues, so fixed. Thank goodness because a shar pei/husky/Rottweiler mix sounds like a mess).

I think I've hit "walker character" status.

So, probably more of an American thing because of car culture and so on, but occasionally there are people you see walking around your area a lot with specific traits that makes them stand out. For example, one of these was a guy who'd walk around in Phoenix, AZ in a long coat. Yes, Phoenix, where it's summer weather 8 months of the year. Or, in the general area of where I work, a guy with a long stick that has a bunch of necklaces/pendants hanging off it (maybe because he sells them? IDK).

I have been recognized by people I've never met because they see me walking Tova everyday (plus, I'm always wearing a baseball cap and have my hair in a very long ponytail).

You would think that, when developing calluses for playing guitar, they would develop equally across the first three fingers with the pinky developing last...

So why is the callus on my ring finger the most developed?? Like, I know my basic chords with some extra (E, A, D, Em, Am, Dm, C, G, B7, sometimes F, Bb, Em7, A7) and most of them are 3 finger chords, I'm still in the early stages of reading tabs, and learning about power chords... None of this explains the weird callus development.

G chord is my favorite chord, tbh. Just a solid, fairly easy chord that sounds good. B7 is a fun one too, but requires more brain power/finger coordination. (I sometimes forget how to play F. To no one's surprise.)

So I've been rewatching the Assassination Classroom anime and am reminded of how bummed I was that they skipped the Meg Kataoka story because it's about codependency.

"She's very giving... Which worries me... People who others depend on... Tend to carry their own burdens alone."

And we see that her former classmate takes advantage of the guilt Meg carries (despite the fact she did her best to help, but the classmate ignored her).

And the Korosensei lays out a very possible future where Meg gets stuck in a terrible marriage with someone who treats her terribly, but she never leaves because he "needs" her.

"It's okay. I'm used to that."

"This is no good, Kataoka! If you get used to people clinging to you... One day, you'll drown with them."

"Don't leave me! I can't survive without you!"

"Sigh... You're so hopeless..."

"This is called 'codependency'. You need to be needed... Even when you don't."

"Your concern for others is truly wonderful. But at times... You need to foster their independence as well."

And it just gets laid right there. Meg sank because her classmate relied on and used her so heavily and it's not really helpful for her classmate either in the long run.

"Now you don't have to feel responsible for her anymore, Kataoka. Remember... Holding someone's hand isn't the only choice... Sometimes you have to let go."

I just think this is a very important lesson to talk about. Yes, it's very important to help others, but not when it comes at the cost of your own wellbeing and that it's also important to foster a sense of independence.

Yuusei Matsui just tends to have a fairly unique approach to the shounen coming of age story.
