a few acnh tips from someone who’s had the game for a day

-you don’t get the pole vault stick until day 2 at the minimum, so be aware if you pick a map that’s very closed in by the river that you will be stuck wherever resident services is for your first night

-nook will give you a miles ticket to go to a deserted island on your first full day and you can immediately invite whoever is on that island to move in! i got flurry

-make sure to show things you catch to tom nook because it’s how you unlock blathers’ tent

-you don’t have to be friends with someone to let them in your island, you can send someone a code instead when your gate is open. i met up with someone from an online AC community super easy 10 mins ago to try out the features

-make sure to save up for the better tool diy recipes because the flimsy tools break easily

- a new day in-game starts at either 5 or 6am (not sure), not at midnight. so if you get this game at midnight and play a little, your next full day will be ready by the morning!
