🌙~Welcome to My Silly Lil Blog~🌙

I’m Elfie, and I’m mostly just here to share my art and enjoy other people’s art, but I love interacting with moots as well. Here’s a little bit you should know about me:

-Y2K baby and Capricorn.

-I’m a she/her.

-I’m from the US, but I’m culturally Greek, Italian, and Irish with a few other less influential cultures as well.

-I’m disabled, living with AuDHD and POTS.

-I believe my style of dress is called whimsigoth. l basically it’s a mix of goth and cottage core. So I have a tendency to kind of default to alternative clothes for my characters lol. I also have a lot of piercings and some tattoos so those are also reflected in my character designs.

-Witchyyyy

-I’m into a lot of different fandoms in general but my top ones right now are Kpop Demon Hunters, the Spiderverse movies, Steven Universe, the Fiona & Cake mini series, The Lord of the Rings, Seraph of the End, and My Hero Academia.

-I loooove moths. They’re so neat.

Emergency Funds Needed!!!

For those who haven’t heard, I’m in a really rough situation right now, and I need to scrape up every penny I can to keep afloat while I’m waiting to start my new job and get a paycheck in. I don’t have a vehicle, and I’m staying in a hotel room on my own on limited funds.

But I can draw! So I’m opening character commissions. Prices are negotiable if you genuinely want to help out but don’t have much to work with. But I was thinking:

⁃ $25 for a bust

⁃ $35 for a halfbody

⁃ $45 for fullbody

⁃ I’m also open to traditional sketches, and I’ll draw real people if asked. **Nothing NSFW right now unless I say otherwise.**

⁃ Adding more characters to the same drawing, I’d tack on $20 each

⁃ Please specify if you want a simple backdrop added in. It would most likely be a preset one from the art tool I use, but I can do a custom one, too. No backgrounds right now since that’s something I struggle with (unless I say otherwise)

Some fun facts about my original characters and any writing/art I use them in:

- All of them have some for me of disability. Due to not being any form of an expert, I tend to stick to the ones I know the most about and the symptoms I’m most familiar with. So often, I refer to my own conditions or those of family and friends who I know well.

- I tend to make my characters very vanilla or have limited knowledge of intimate matters. This isn’t so much due to a lack of knowledge for myself. It’s more a matter of not being able to relate bc I’m not myself in the scenario, and hypotheticals in general are not my strong suit. 😅

- Most of my characters have traumatic childhood experiences that shape who they become as people in their adult lives. This usually doesn’t at all reflect my experiences. I just do this for the sake of depth of character and my own interest in developmental psych and how it shapes people.

- The only OCs I write with the intent to be directly based on myself are Elliott and Kainoa, my elves. I originally made them up when I was 15, so that’s why. But they’re also archetypal on a lot of ways and no longer really me, in my opinion.

- All my characters have similar cultural backgrounds to me or ones that I know a lot about. I’m comfortable writing characters as being from Greek, Irish, and Italian, backgrounds due to the fact that I share those cultural backgrounds and know enough to not be writing them incorrectly or insensitively. I also sometimes write characters are being Hispanic due to having learned a bit about some Hispanic cultures through others, and same with Korean. So I feel that, while there may be some gaps, I can portray a character from those backgrounds pretty reasonably. I couldn’t say the same of many other cultures, unfortunately, due to not knowing enough about them.

- Despite what I said about my characters not being self-inserts, I do have a “persona” who is genuinely based on me on purpose. I feel that it’s very different.

Alright so I’ve now deleted all but two of my Kpop Demon Hunters roleplaying blogs. Obviously, I’m not terribly active on here anymore. There’s a good reason, I swear. I was silly and joined a ton of groups on here when I first started getting more active, and now I have like a bazillion notifs, and that bugs the hell outta me and makes my head feel cluttered.

Anyway, so the reason I deleted the other accounts is that I felt it was a bit silly to have one for each Saja Boys and Huntrix member. That’s a lot to keep track of. So I’m thinking that instead I’d like to do just one for all the Saja Boys (bc I love those goofs) and try to be more active with it.

Stupidly, I forgot to screenshot stuff before I started deleting the other accounts. BUT I plan to do that will these last two if I delete or reconstruct them.

I also plan on doing brief bios on my interpretations of the guys. I have a lot of headcanons for them, and I think you guys will enjoy.

I’m also planning on doing a separate blog for my writing if I can ever get around to writing more. Is anyone interested?

KPDH/Zoeystery headcanon:

When they first start dating, Zoey is constantly worried that she’s going to drive Mystery away with her “too-much-ness” so she does her best to keep that part of her personality restrained. Mystery hates seeing how she feels like she can’t be herself around him and he really loves her “too-much-ness”, but struggles to articulate it in a way that she’ll believe him.

So instead, he decides to show her on a game show they’re on together, Tom Holland style:

Finally back into drawing after a small hiatus! This is my OC, Niamh Scully, who I’m using for a Kpop Demon Hunters roleplay server on Discord. She’s a demon, hence using her. But of course, I plan to have her interact with some of the canon characters as well.

I should also mention while I’m at it that I’m back to taking emergency commissions due to serious financial struggles. I’ve been forced to move between states a few different times in the past few years and I’m at my last chance now, but finding employment that’s willing to take me with my disability limitations has proven more difficult than I can imagine it ever should be. I’m no longer able to afford to go to doctors at all or get my heart medication, and that terrifies me. If anyone is willing to help, please DM me. I’ll be starting a GoFundMe as well, but I’m mostly interested in taking commissions. Thanks for all your support!

Hey, all! I know I’ve been absent as hell lately, and I’m not really able to explain why I’m too much detail. It’s been a mixture of mental and physical health circumstances. But due to those same circumstances, I’m in a really rough situation financially. I have very little time to save up for moving soon, and sadly, I can’t put it off. It has to happen. But I have more expenses than I can afford, too. Between my phone bill, doctor’s visits, saving to move, and saving for items for when I do move… I can’t afford it all. As a disabled adult who doesn’t make enough to live on my own, I’m terrified of tomorrow.

My idea was this. I have a bunch of yarn and the stuff doesn’t cost much, but I also have the skill to crochet just about anything. I’m planning to set up an Etsy shop, but I’m also going to promote my work here. You name it. I can do it. Just no majorly large projects, such as blankets and sweaters, because they take far too long and would cost you a lot more than I’m sure anyone is looking to spend. For some ideas, I’ve got a list below of some things I can make.
