Oops, it’s been a while. It’s been crazy.

Anyways I kinda popped off (for my standards) for my reading in May, 7 books is my monthly pr now.

Here’s what I read last month, (not pictured is ACOFAS)

My May faves were Spark of the Everflame and Blood Over Brighthaven!!!

Worthy of Fate I actually finished this month and is basically ACOMAF tbh, very similar tropes and plot lines but not totally the same. I still enjoyed it but it wasn’t “omg amazing”

Another June read and my fave this month so far was Metal Slinger. I devoured this book in 10 days and the ending had me shook, literally just staring at the acknowledgment at the end for a beat wondering wtf just happened after midnight.

I'm gonna be real explicit because some of y'all are dumb as rocks. If we don't pay for their overpriced bullshit, they will have to make it be more reasonably priced bullshit. Do not buy $70-$80 video games. Don't fucking do it. I don't care that you own every Mario kart and Mario party and Zelda game and that's what you base your personality around. You're gonna have an identity crisis for like 2 months and then they'll lower the prices because we all did good and didn't buy them, and then you can have your favorite piece of shit game, ok?

I forgot to post mine and my husband’s recent additions to our ever growing TBR. Not pictured is Metamorphosis by Kafka but he’s reading that right now. He also already finished Tender is the Flesh.

I’m about halfway through Animal Farm and 30% through ACOWAR right now. I think I’ll probably table this series for a bit because I have 2 other books on my shelf for 2 separate series I kind of forgot about and I really wanna finish buuuuttt I suppose we’ll see how I feel after finishing ACOWAR.

The other 2 books are Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco and The Dryad Storm by Laurie Forest
