dissolution (part 41) | matt murdock x ofc
Story Synopsis: Elizabeth Herrera and Matt Murdock go way back. Friends since college, the two have known each other for ten years. But as a couple, they’ve been together for four and lately, their relationship is hanging by a thread, and the two are desperate to make it work.
Will their relationship survive? Or will memories of their past hinder them from healing? MATURE.
A/N: It's been 84 years... At least that's what it feels like! My lovelies, I can't even begin to tell you how much I've missed you all. Life has been hectic, but that doesn't mean I have stopped writing. In fact, this entire time I've been writing. It was a lengthy process getting this chapter the way I wanted (writer's block sucks), but I'm hoping it's one you enjoy and find worth the wait. As always, thank you for your patience and love for this story! 💗

Excerpt from Part 41
“Well, that sucks for me, doesn’t it?” he asked, his steps coming to a pause as he stood two feet away from me. His hands came up to his tie, undoing it quietly.
I scrunched my nose lightly and nodded. “It does.”
“Is there a way for me to change that or…?”
“I mean…” Letting out a small, dramatic sigh, I placed my hands on my hips and looked over my shoulder at our bed before bringing my eyes back to him. “There is one way.”
Smirking, Matt pulled his tie off and closed the gap between us. His hands were nestled right under my ass as he scooped me off the floor.
“Oh yeah?” he teased.
“You gotta be quick though,” I said, pecking his lips. “I’m hungry, and I have to go over my schedule for tomorrow.”
“So am I,” he murmured, bringing the two of us to the bedroom. “Hungry, that is.”
