okay, having watched the two first episodes of mouse 2021 I'm kinda disoriented.
first there is a researcher who found a psycho-dna who is also a brother of a victim of a psychopath-turned-friend (okay motive)
then there is this famous psycho (beheads his victims) who almost got away with all of the murders and would continue living his normal life if it wasn't for the little guy who was sleeping on his mother's lap in the car. (little guy becomes a detective and continues to visit the murder in prison. he also wants to avenge his parent. motive)
his pregnant wife is the witness who puts him in jail. she does the test and her future child is a psycho... but! the audience for now wasn't shown the results, she just assumed and the professor let her believe whatever (he then proceeds to share the results of the test_s (?) with a suspicious black car passenger-never-to-be-seen. I remember the motive)
there is another woman who does the test. her and the wife talk ā she decides not to abort because she wants to prove the professor wrong ā a child can be brought up to be a good person nevertheless (plus her husband is supposedly an angel. a lying one tho because he knew he put a psycho in her and didn't tell her. and then died saving an animal on the road full of cars) the wife is at a loss of words because her husband just got arrested, she can't abort the baby and everything she ever knew about their relationship was a lie. understandable.
the wife then visits her murderer ex-husband in prison and tells him she killed the baby as soon as the child was born. he believes it somehow.
one day the little guy is already a teenager and somehow finds the wife to ask her for the money for the operation for his older brother (who is a victim of the psychopath's attempted murder) and accidently sees her son ā the psycho's son.
the next shot after the flashback is a detective ā the little guy ā almost running over man who is helping a wounded bird off the road. hmm... isn't it bit on the nose? but then I remember the other woman who took the test and the tragic death by the truck of her lying angel husband. hmm...
there are 2 children with psycho genes.
the 2nd episode opens up with one the children telling the audience how he became a murderer ā how he was born like that. and he says his first murder was a hectic and hard one. we're supposed to understand that he's talking about killing his father and two younger siblings, but the montage that is going on during his voiceover depicts another murder.
it is said that this victim is a family member of that psychopath's victim. he is the younger brother and the murder of his older sister is the 2nd scene in the 1st episode. but the man who murdered her isn't the one who got arrested because he used a little girl to beacon her to himself? the audience knows that that man and the psycho who beheads people isn't the same man so what is going on?
the little guy detective has a fun dynamic with a local producer of her own detective show. she says that she feels responsible for the victim (the younger brother) that's why she wants to make an episode about this case. she is the little girl who helped her father (?) with a murder, no?
the 2nd episode ends with 2 supposed psycho children meeting for the second time. one of them is highly expressive, empathic and is a cop (he's the one the detective almost hit with his car) and the other is a doctor who is first introduced to the audience in the er telling a woman after an attempt how to cut her wrists properly. so, insane. the cop is also there because of his friend who got jumped and he instantly has weird tension with the doctor.
so in this final scene of the 2nd episode there is a voiceover of that same child who murdered his family. he is saying that his mother told him there is another child with this monster genome. the cop and the doctor look each other in the eyes. "I always wondered what happened to that child?" cue the weird slow motion. "is he a predator like me...?" cue the changing pov's. "...or did he, unlike me, grow up to be a normal person?" roll the credits with dramatic music.
I'm so confused. or am I confusing myself?
the psycho who is prison sent out people to look for his child and the emotionless doctor showed up to meet him.
the cop who almost got ran over by a detective is a direct parallel to his alleged angel lying father.
so the doctor is the killer and the cop has a recessive gene and a devoted mother.
nah I don't believe them. that original psycho was really good at emotions and I remember the flower of evil too good for this show to tell me the emotionally stunted doctor is a psycho.
the one who killed his family and the one who is killing right now ate 2 different people, maybe? the detective on the current cases is the victim of the psycho beheader so he really wants that psycho's son to be the murderer.
but what happened to the wife?
who did the professor give the results to?
what happened to the whole kill the psycho in the womb program?
