Dear friends, I am excited to be offering an online Vocal Improv class for beginners, starting August 30th. The class will run for 8 weeks and is scheduled to happen Sundays at 1pm EASTERN. Each class will be 90 minutes long. The class is limited to 8 people maximum to ensure everybody gets ample time to practice in class. Having taught the subject on a collegiate level plus being a practicing improviser myself I continue to work on my improv skills, constantly expanding my repertoire of exercises, ways of looking at things and generally working on my craft (which I loooove!) Over the last few months I have had extensive time to build a solid curriculum on the subject, including pdfs with exercises and etudes, as well as one block on the essential music theory you will need for solid jazz improv.
