“Splendid. Do you think you could show me the way so I could grab a room before they all fill up?”
“Thank you, you’re a life saver.”
“I was just hoping you could tell me where the nearest place to stay was?” Elise had been sleeping in the woods, but that the old way, now she preferred more lavish settings.
Elise was ecstatic to have her older brother around, something she wasn't sure she’d ever have again. “Well for now, we shall celebrate that we are together, no?”
The dragon bowed it’s head, a bit of fire shot from it’s mouth and hit a stack of hay before she transformed back. “Thank you, miss..?”
“Then move around, I'm not taking apart my entire act for the convenience of a spoiled child. Off you go, there’s a clear path that way.”
“Then bugger off little one, you’re wasting my time.”
“Is our sister here as well?” Elise was a bit hopeful, though she knew given their lives she probably should not have been. Her red hair flowing in the wind whilst a small tear was present in the corner of her emerald orbs. “I have missed you so.”
“Well, what does it sound like it might be?”
“You were warned.” Elise shrugged, a mischievous smile crossed her delicate features as she stood, closing her eyes and within moments the woman transformed to a dragon.
“Ask and ye’ shall receive.” Elise pushed herself from the throne those in charge had her sitting at. “You may want to step back.”
Elise was beyond shocked, Jon was the last person she expected to see here of all places, she knew he was more old fashioned. “I came for you, I visited a few with the gift of foresight and I was lead here but I didn't let myself believe it was true, just incase.” Quickly she returned the hug, grateful to be with at least one member of her family. “I’m fine, brother.”
CLOSED \\ Fire breathing what?
Elise wasn’t sure what to make of this place, she was brand new and already sucked into a fair. Something she’d usually never waste her time on, alas here she was. The red head was standing alongside with her stuffed dragon she’d won, talking with someone at the lemonade stand. The suspicious looking man with a reptile tale had a weird way about him, but somehow she didn’t mind. Elise even found herself talking lemonade from him, but it was sour, so much so that she cringed at the taste. Next thing she knew, the man was ushering her away. “Come on let’s go, no time to say hello, goodbye we’re late, we’re late, we’re late!” He exclaimed and she nodded, feet shuffling along.
“Come one, come all. See the fabulous Fire Bolt transform into a creature long believed to be extinct.”
@elisesstorm Jon had began walking through the crowds finding himself within becoming uncomfortable and irritated. He hadn’t been around this many people in a very long time, and the fact that he was now in a completely different era of time didn’t make him feel any better. He came into some sort of clearing and he stopped, taking a deep breath. Jon’s eyes finally caught sight of a redheaded girl and his eyebrows creased, not sure if he could quite believe it was her. His younger sister. “Elise?”
Elise wasn’t sure what to make of this town, it was most definitely different than most she’d seen before. Especially this small fair, it was strange and yet somehow people flocked to it like moths to the flame, herself included. The red headed dragon found herself at a booth with a mallet, the tool was in her hands and she gave it a swing as the small piece hit the bell she won and grinned. “That one.” She pointed to the prize she wanted, a giant stuffed dragon, which made her giggle a bit until she heard her name and looked up only to see her older brother. “Jon.. I can’t believe it.”
