We're holding a fursuit auction to make a donation to ACLU Kansas as they work to oppose SB 244. SB 244 is an anti-transgender bill that has invalidated the driver’s licenses and birth certificates of people who have changed their gender markers on these documents.
This is an attack on the humanity and self determination of the trans community, and we can’t sit by while bills like these are proposed around the country.
The auction will be held via Telegram: https://t.me/PoeProsAuctions and start at $500. Ends Sunday, March 8th at 5pm PST.
75% of the final auction amount will be donated to ACLU Kansas. We are only keeping 25% to cover our own taxes and transaction fees, and aren’t profiting on the auction at all.
The auction will last just one week, so that any money raised can be put to use by Kansas ACLU as quickly as possible.
We don’t know what might happen in the meantime. If we’re lucky, the bill will get walked back or overruled. Should that happen, we will still donate the amount to ACLU Kansas. This will not be the last attack on the trans community in Kansas or in the country, and the ACLU has a long history of fighting to protect our civil liberties including LGBTQ+ causes, racial justice, reproductive rights, and immigrants’ rights.

I just found out this morning that we don't have rent for November. Only one member of our five person household is working right now, with two unable to work and the other two just recently laid off but still searching. On top of that, one of our cats has suddenly developed a sickness that we need to take her to the vet for, creating further drain on our finances.
I potentially have a job lined up, but that doesn't start until the beginning of November, and the last working member of the house can't provide for all of us. So, I've opened commissions up again.
Uncolored doodles are $5, with up to two characters. +5 for color (no shading, lineart will be messy)
Meme redraws are $5 if you provide the meme, $10 if you don't.
