You do not have nine lives. You have one body, one timeline, one set of years that will not be returned to you for revision. The elderly people who say they thought they would live forever are not being poetic. They are describing a very specific and very common failure of the human imagination to make the future feel as real and as urgent as the present. Your future self is a real person who will live in the body and the circumstances and the consequences of the decisions you are making right now. She deserves better than to inherit the results of your present comfort and present avoidance.
The biggest thing I've taken away from all the femininity, hypergamous, level up, etc content is that all of the advice should be taken with a grain of salt. Adjust and tailor to whatever type of people you're trying to attract. Everyone's definition of high value is different. But most importantly be yourself at the end of the day.
I've really grown to dislike women telling other women what a man wants. Men are individuals, the same way women are. Not all high value men are looking for the exact same type of woman. Most importantly, what one person may consider high value, may be considered trash to someone else.
I've had women in my personal life tell me that I need to tone my down "intense" personality because it turns men off. No man has ever said that to me lol. Every man I've dealt with has always loved my personality. In fact, they usually say I'm a nice change from what they're used to experiencing. They love my direct communication and inquisitive nature. I don't dance around topics, I communicate directly. I love seeing their shoulders relax they first realize that they aren't going to have to work hard in choosing their words carefully, to avoid hurting my feelings. Say whatever the fuck you need to say, just spit it out.
I've been told that I need to be more agreeable. But there's always a little smirk that creeps across a man's face when I challenge him. The excitement and intellectual stimulation they get from going back and forth with me usually humors them. They usually go home and do their own research to better understand my point of view. "...I was thinking about what you said last week and that's an interesting perspective..."
Now, the femininity girlies who say you should be dressed in pink all the time and haven't stepped away from their computer in years, would probably call me a masculine, low value woman lol. But I've never had a problem with men treating me like the woman I am. They're always gentle with me, even when I think I'm being amped up and aggressive (in my head I think I look tough, but they see a hyped up chihuahua lol). Even with my dominant nature, I still get treated like I'm a fragile piece of glass. If you have a pair of ovaries, you are inherently feminine. I don't know where this idea that you have to perform your femininity comes from-- it's weird and unnatural.
On the flip side, the few men who have taken issue with my personality have always been low achieving, red pill men. The lawyers, doctors, Ivy League academics, etc have always appreciated the way I am and tell me that I need to keep being myself.
I used to follow online advice like it was law, when I was in my early 20's. I modified myself to the point where I almost forgot who I was, because I thought I was being the high value woman, that women online told me a man wanted. Since then, I've started leaving the house and actually interacting with real life high value women and as a result I've returned to my natural self. When I first started mingling with these women I was shocked because it was nothing like the girlies online say-- they cuss, wear pants and dark colors and their multimillionaire husband is still proud to walk in the room with them??? Crazy.
Lol men actually enjoy being around me now and no longer feel like they're with this stiff, robot who's performing her femininity.
😭 posts like this are not for everybody but it genuinely does motivate me because it reminds me that NOTHING is impossible, some things are literally determined by your own laziness. But the brilliant thing is that you CAN ALWAYS CHANGE THAT!
