Your art reminds me of Disney'a dark era in a good way (that yummy sketchy, pencil lineart look like in 101 Dalmations and Robin Hood) and old Barbie children's book illustrations and 50's box art.
That is so insanely sweet, thank you 💖. That means a lot to me, as 101 Dalmatians is one of my favorite animated films and old Disney is one of my biggest inspirations :)
Meeting doodles (drawn on Procreate, which I haven't used in eons! I'm rusty lol). Rewatching a playthrough of McKenzie & Co. put me in a 90s mood (I can't be the only Nancy Drew fan who's obsessed with McKenzie & Co., right??)
I've been so obsessed with Boynextdoor's "오늘만 I Love You" these days, and the cover art for the single is so cute!! So I wanted to try my hand at doing a redraw in my style. I wish I knew who the og artist was…

It took me so long to create some Arctic fox designs I was actually happy with 😭 (drawing animals is not my forte). I had to put this project on hold for a while because I got busy working on Ventreville. I've got a full manuscript, so now I've got to buckle down and illustrate the thing!
I finished the first draft of one of my novel projects today! It’s the first time I’ve ever finished a story of novel-length. I still have a ton of editing ahead of me, and I want to make a lot of illustrations for the book as well, which will also take awhile to do (especially since the characters are anthropomorphic animals, and I’m not good at drawing those). But I’m happy I reached this milestone, and as I develop character designs and work on my illustrations, I’ll probably share some of them on here :).
I will upload a little sneak peek/update shortly 👀.
The demo for Ventreville: A Cure for Sorrow is out! This is just a small sampling of the sprites you can expect to see in the demo. I designed 22 characters and created around 145 sprites for the game so far. Not all the characters I created are in the demo, so stay tuned for more characters to come! I will be working for the next year and more on the full game. We'll be dropping a Kickstarter in the coming weeks, so if you love the demo, please consider supporting! We're a small team over at @spicybreadproductions, but we really put our all into this. It was tough having to create so much content in a small window of time, but we did it! And we hope you enjoy it ❤️.
