Sarah Bernhardt is one of my heros... the OG actress-crushing-it-as-a-producer woman in entertainment. 👊🏻🎭 She was a leading lady who wanted to play more powerful + interesting characters so she often took on male roles including Hamlet - HAMLET - in a lavish theatre that SHE owned... back in the 1800s when women had zero rights.
