“Ouroboros”

A chalkboard stop motion animation experiment I created that seeked to challenge notions of beginnings and endings through illustration birth springing from decay, then leading to death, all while showing the constancy of the vibrant living organisms at each stage.

This print is a deconstruction of highways. During this time in my education, I was experimenting with different objects as vehicles for exploring biomorphism, and was traveling a lot by plane, therefore inspired by the microcosmic qualities of the bird’s eye view.
