Sometimes writing is like having an enormous lake in your head, and you want to get it out of your head and into a proper place for a lake so other people can come and go swimming and ride jet skis and stuff, except all you have to move the lake is a teaspoon. So you’re just sitting there frantically flinging water out of the lake with your teaspoon and telling people, “Guys, this lake is going to be so cool when it’s done,” but it will never be done. honestly what the hell was the point of having Nicola and Yoshi end up together..... like back off Soman, Nicola doesn’t need a k-pop boyfriend, it would have been so much better if she’d rocked up to the tagatha wedding single and fucking diced them all with her killer outfit and looks

Like honestly, not once in the series Nicola came out to me like a girl who desperately needs a boyfriend. Like what's with authors and making all the females romantic-centered in the end. Couldn't a girl for once be happy and single? Couldn't she? I kinda understand the thing with Sophie, I don't like it, but I "can" understand. But Nicola? All of a sudden? What the frick?

12. Name a song that makes you feel ethereal?

There’s many actually, because I’m obssesed with good music and often find inspiration in it. For me the definition of music that is “ethereal” will be majority of music made by “The Daughter” like for example “Youth”, “Run” or “Smoke” (but the latter might be triggering for people who experienced domestic violence, I warn). “Carmen” by Lana Del Rey also has that effect on me - it just has The Vibe. 

13. What’s your ideal summer aesthetic?

I’m from a small village in mountains, studying in a big city, so my ideal summer aesthetic is rural - like yellow fields, forests, hay bales, long walks in the mountains, chickens running around the garden. Fresh morning air and steamy evenings with orange-coloured sky. It does the thing for me. And also watermelons. 

17. What is something you own that is important to you? What makes it so important?

The first thing that comes to mind is my silver cross necklace - not because of vampires :) - but because I’m a Christian and it was a gift from my grandmother. Also Parker’s Pen with my name on it - my mom gave it to me before my final exams in high school. Basically everything that was a gift from people closest to me.
