Something I’ve noticed about Jesus and one of the reasons I will forever serve him is that when we pray for God to fix or change other people (non believers too), sometimes he just ends up changing your heart, your emotions, and how you receive the person.
God loves you and the other party so much that he does something that will benefit you both. Through you changing how you receive the person you’re experiencing a changed heart, closer to what God intended for you. Through your changed heart, the other person, may draw nearer and give their life to Christ because of the grace you’ve shown them.
In this, God reminds us humility, showing us that he’s not just our God, he is their God too! He does not play favorites, and there is always room for improvement for his children.
