2nd Grade - Cycle 26 (May 12-19)

Read The Happy Book by Andy Rash and started Zita the Spacegirl by Ben Hatke. Continued our biography research. Students had write three interesting facts about their person.

1st Grade - Cycle 26 (May 12-19)

Read Chez Bob by Bob Shea. Started biography research. Students had to pick a person from a biography category in PebbleGo, then write down their birthdate and birthplace.

Kindergarten - Cycle 26 (May 12-19)

Read I Found a Kitty by Troy Cummings and Fancy Nancy, Poison Ivy Expert by by Jane O’Connor. Learned how to find the call number of a book in the library catalog. Then searched an animal and wrote down the call number from the list of results.

The Fisherman and the Afreet story from Tenggren’s Golden Tales from the Arabian Nights and read Valentines are the Worst! by Alex Willan. Started biography research. Students had to pick a person from a biography category in PebbleGo, then write down their birthdate and birthplace.
