One thing I don't understand about batfamily fics is the fact that the wifi works throughout the whole manor. And not I'm not talking about the batcave, that's a whole different story, prolly has its own router down there.
For example, if they only had one router for the main manor, it would have to have a hella range, because a normal routers range would not be able to cover the vast amount of area there is. Even if it did have extended range I doubt it would still be able to cover the whole area and there of course there would be weakspots.
Unless they have multiple routers throughout the manor, then I could somewhat believe it. I personally don't know how'd that work and if you can get them all to spout the same wifi or your phone would constantly be switching between whatever the strongest network is in that area of the manor.
Or the batkids are just constantly using data on an unlimited data plan. Seems the simplest.
Back on the one router it could be possible Bruce could have only one on purpose, in order to encourage the kids to migrate to the common areas because that's where you can get the strongest wifi.
Anyways, this rant was brought to you from the 3rd floor of my aunts house where I currently have 0 wifi 😎👍
