Introduction and Shilling
Hiyas! My name is Elizabeth, AKA Ellie or LizaVet, and this is a blog for my to talk about The Owl House, as well as my fic, The Wild Lights.
As a quick synopsis, the Wild Lights is a series of fics that take place after the end of season 1, acting as a sort of alternate season 2. The series has a big focus on developing the characters and exploring the lore of the Boiling Isles, and switches between a fairly large cast of POV characters.
From the start, and definitely by this point, the fic is insanely canon divergent, and I plan on going in a very different direction with many plot elements and threads. If any of this sounds interesting to you, give it a read. I will warn you though, its rather long, as I have a habit of losing track of my word count.
As for the fics in it so far, we’ve got:
Sketchy Potions & Magic Commotions: Set 1 week after Young Blood Old Souls, Eda and Lilith work together to gather ingrediants for a special potion to make some quick cash, while Luz works to keep her friends safe from the Emperor’s Coven when the Golden Guard shows up for an investigation.
To Be Wild, To Be Happy, To Be Free: With Summer coming to an end, Luz works to find a way to build a portal home, venturing to an island that even Belos won’t go to in order to learn more about glyph magic.
