Two character commissions I finished today!!

Hello everyone! I’m just about finished with this round of commissions, and I wanted to thank those who entrusted me with their incredible characters!

I especially wanna thank y’all because I realized a lot about myself as an artist - there were a lot of challenges unrelated to the commissions that shook my confidence. I started to wonder if my work was progressing the way I wanted it to, if it was progressing at a good rate, if looking for an art job was a waste of time, etc etc. No matter what the specifics were, I was falling into a dark place with my work. I often forget that I hold myself to a higher standard than others would, which is something that helps to consider when I start to spin out of control. I am ever-changing, at my own pace. My ultimate challenge is to work towards feeling comfort and love from my work, not to be scared of it.

A commission for the lovely @bagofgroceries! This is their awesome Jotun oc who they described beautifully, I hope I did her justice! This character was a challenge for me, but they were loads of fun to draw.
