do we know anything about the timeline leading up to abby finding her dad? the actual corridor scene gets replayed so often and I’m wondering

we know in detail roughly a day leading up to ellie finding joel in the blizzard and it adds so much nuance to her grief

as for abby we have tracking lessons earlier in the day, then the scene where she brings jerry food before the surgery. she seems to be with him the whole day, but then later when she finds him, manny and owen are already there. did she leave at some point? it seems unlikely given how much of a big deal this procedure was. did they get separated?
