Sometimes I find myself thinking about waiting. According to the Oxford dictionary, the verb “to wait” has some meanings, among them I highlight these two: 1. to stay where you are or delay doing something until somebody/something comes or something happens. 2. to hope or watch for something to happen, especially for a long time. I don’t know why, but I feel like I’m always waiting for something. Waiting for people, waiting for new opportunities, waiting for love, waiting for something to happen all the time, like my mind just can’t wait for the time to pass. I really can’t wait for the time to pass, I want to be in my future soon. But, at the same time, I’m scared of it. I’m afraid of being a big failure or not feeling satisfied with what I have. And it makes me have panic attacks, I don’t want to fail but I don’t know how to tread my path to success. For now, I sit here, looking to my own feet, waiting for my tears to finish falling, waiting for feel complete. Waiting when I will learn not to wait and live life without fear.
