While watching for wildlife from a hide near a water hole, the quiet was shattered when a herd of elephants suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The scene was total chaos, with elephants everywhere, and the sounds they made from this close range were unforgettable. In this photo, one elephant was standing just a few feet away from the hide while another elephant on the opposite side appeared perfectly framed between its legs.

Location: Mashatu Game Reserve, Botswana

She has wings, of course she is designed to fly.

She nestles at the blossoms alone, sometimes alone where others gather. She appears intimidating, as only to ward off predators, but her energy is inviting to the weary traveler. 🕷️🐛🐌 She hovers and holds space, all while she maintains motion. Yet there are some who simply hold her in high regard without thought of her own weariness, of her own perils, of her own flight. She is beyond appreciative of those who truly see her, of those who hold space for her, of those whose genuine intentions are to offer her a restorative space to be heard.

She has wings, and yet, she also appreciates being carried. #TigerBeeFly 🐅🐝🪰
