invincible, ghosts (us), supernatural the hunger games, the great comet, the phantom of the opera, hadestown, hazbin hotel, monster high, alice by heart
making a post on my tt about it, but i feel like call your mom by noah kahan perfectly encapsulates haymitch, burdock and asterid.
burdock constantly visiting haymitch after the games with asterid, trying to help him. asterid giving him meds that ultimately make things worse. the couple trying over and over again to help haymitch only to be rebuffed at every opportunity.
they only stop when haymitch hurts asterid, and i am fairly confident it was burdock who put up that boundary, not asterid. i can see her try convince burdock to see haymitch, but they both they can’t help him unless he lets them.
draculaura and toralei are two of my fav characters in g3 and as much as i like them as close friends (drac checking in on toralei during the family weekend), i feel like it’s going to take a bit for draculaura to move past toralei trying to destroy her life for MONTHS. like i adore toralei, but she was MEAN. i feel like eventually, toralei and drac have a heart to heart where toralei fully apologizes for everything she’s done to draculaura and she accepts the apology and draculaura apologizes for not bringing up her feelings sooner and they genuinely do become close friends.
i feel like this especially takes place after clawdeen and toralei start dating (i’m a toradeen truther, especially in g3) and draculaura sucks it up because while she does like toralei, being friendly with her is different than her best friend dating her.
- when draculaura gets scared (or even tired) she turns into bat form and rides on his shoulder kind of like a parrot
- even while dating, they still have a friendly competition in extra peculiars and projects (extra curricular) while they work together most times, if they are in a different group then boom only one of them can win.
- they never really “officially” started dating. they just kind of started hanging out together, holding hands, referring to one another a bf/gf, but never officially asked the other out.
- they bond over not /fully/ trusting toralei, though draculaura would never admit it to anyone else. clawd actually brings it up first, and draculaura admits that she has a hard time getting over her bullying. eventually, they both forgive toralei (which is a story for another day!)
- draculaura teaches clawd basic witchcraft! while he isn’t super interested in it, draculaura gets so excited explaining and showing him he can’t help but want to learn for her.
- in the same area, clawd teaches her all about pest control in beheme. they even conjure up some potions that help with pest control, in case of any accidents happen again.
I am Mohammed, I live in the northern besieged Gaza Strip, I am 21 years old, I have always tried to create a beautiful future for myself in which I achieve all my wishes. I had ambitions and dreams, but they evaporated because of the war, but I still want to achieve them despite the siege. During the war, I lost many things, including my university, my dreams, my job, and some friends. Despite that, I still want to achieve my dreams and ambitions. I want to rebuild my life again, so please help me in that and rebuild my life. Therefore,
please donate as much as you can because that helps me a lot. If you cannot donate, tell people about my suffering.
My name is Mohammed, I live in a neighborhood in Shujaiyya, an area in the north of Gaza. I am 21 years old , the eldest among my siblings.
Imagine being a parent and watching your baby’s formula run out, knowing the next can is so expensive it may as well not exist. You search desperately for alternatives—but all you have is a bit of rice and some cow’s milk, not meant for infants. You have no choice but to feed it to her , praying it keeps her alive, even as you watch it make her sick.
Images: Hossam Al-Qazzaz sent us update photos of his daughter, Habiba, who is currently in hospital due to her parents having to feed her ground rice and milk, in addition to pollution in the food.

This is the reality for Hossam Al-Qazzaz in Gaza. His ten
-month old daughter, Habiba, is now in the hospital—weak, undernourished, her tiny hand wrapped in gauze and tape, an IV doing the job that formula should have done.
Hossam, his wife Hanan, and their four children—Bashar (9), Hani (8), Diana (4), and baby Habiba—are displaced once again, forced to flee after their area was designated an active combat zone. The little shelter they had left among the ruins of their home is now unsafe. They now sleep in a tent, with no walls to protect them and no roof to shield them from the bombs or the elements.
Despite it all, they cling to hope—hope that they’ll survive long enough to escape. Hope for a day when their children can live in peace.
But survival alone has become a full-time battle. Over the past few weeks, Hossam has faced death multiple times just trying to access aid. He’s seen his brother-in-law and nephew severely injured in front of him. He’s made dangerous trips to aid centers, only to return empty-handed or narrowly escape shelling. He does all of this while also caring for his family and elderly parents, both in poor health.
Gaza’s infrastructure has collapsed. Jobs have vanished. There is no electricity, no clean water, and no stable access to food or medicine. Even basic items like rice, cooking gas, clothing, and diapers are becoming luxuries, as prices skyrocket due to the Israeli blockade and severe shortages. Baby formula, when it can be found at all, costs over $60 a can—an impossible amount for a family with no income.
Since this war began, the Al-Qazzaz family has endured the unthinkable: being bombed out of their home, attacked by wild animals in the night while displaced, suffering from malnutrition, and living in fear of each new dawn.
And still, they keep going.
Please, for the sake of little Habiba—who was born into a war she never chose—and for her family, we ask you to share their story. Help us connect them with those who can donate, no matter how small. Every act of kindness counts. Every share, every dollar, every prayer helps bring this family one step closer to safety, stability, and dignity.

Unfortunately, it seems that the problems are coming together. We have now been asked to evacuate our area immediately. Please, my friends, help us. Displacement is very, very expensive. We must pay rent for a plot of land on which we can set up our tent. Please donate to us and participate.
I moved my family to the coastal area of Al Mawasi. They are temporarily staying in a tent with relatives. Today I tried to catch up with them and transport some things, but transportation is very expensive. I will try tomorrow to find a transport vehicle at a reasonable price. It seems that tonight will be very difficult The targeting in the region does not stop, so please, my friends, help me to flee this dangerous region. Please donate to us and share our post, and do not forget my infant daughter, Habeeba, she needs milk, please.

This is a reminder for those who handmake Christmas presents that now is not too early to start. It may in fact be a good time to start if you have a lot to make/your craft takes a long time. You should maybe start it now, whether that's brainstorming or actually doing the crafts!
