today my friend sent me a reel that said "send this to your yaoi twin" with mlm pride flags all over it. i said i was honored to be their yaoi twin and asked what their reasoning was. they replied, "youre a man." ive never told them im trans. theyre the first person to know without me explicitly saying it. that made me so, so happy. i asked how they knew and they said they just did. then they told me theyre nonbinary but arent very open about it so they can tell when someone is genderqueer but isnt out. its a little funny that a reel about being "yaoi twin" is how i came out to them and how i learned that they care for and understand me that much, but it makes me really happy. i havent felt this loved and seen in a long time. pride is a beautiful thing -- happy pride month everyone
