– kiku started out life as the daughter of a king, who ruled a small country off the border of the fire country. however when her uncle tried to wrestle control from her father by killing him, the country fell into ruin and soon enough, the villagers emigrated to the other countries. kiku was rescued by ayame on her way from a mission and subsequently adopted, making her an official member of the azuma clan and sunagakure.

kiku focuses on kunais and earth type affinity jutsu for her weapons. genin rank. 12 years old. member of the azuma clan. adoptive daughter of ayame.

– brought into the azuma clan after master shiunsai killed his father, tatsumaru was brought up to be the future head of the clan due to him showcasing immeasurable talent and a diplomatic side that none of his other clan siblings had. however fate had other ideas and after losing his memory when he fell off of a cliff fighting an enemy ninja, he slaughtered most of the azuma clan, believing them to be his enemy. when he was eventually enlightened to his crimes by rikimaru and ayame, he committed suicide with izayoi to offer penance for them.

tatsumaru focused on his taijutsu and chakra control for his weapons, as well as mastering the clan’s secret jutsu, the wrath of heaven. ANBU rank. 29 years old. former leader of the azuma clan. deceased.

NARUTO - TENCHU AU ; RIN.

–- originally part of a clan that lived just on the borders of sunagakure, rin became orphaned when her clan was slaughtered, by a former member called futaba and a mercenary band she found herself with. ayame and rikimaru were coming back to suna when they crossed the village and rin sitting alone in the wreckage, and they took her in, promising that she would get her chance for revenge. rin is quite closed off and blunt, still trying to process the loss of her clan and the feelings of hatred and need for revenge.

rin focuses a lot on kenjutsu and has a wind affinity, although she is proficient in taijutsu. chuunin rank. 15 years old. member of the azuma clan.

–- brought into the azuma clan after master shiunsai killed his father during battle, rikimaru trained alongside his older clan brother tatsumaru and the younger ayame. he achieved anbu rank at age 26, and was tasked with bringing in tatsumaru after his defection. with the decimation of their clan, both leadership and the clan sword izayoi fell to rikimaru. izayoi gave him the power to harness his chakra easier, making the wrath of heaven jutsu easier to perform with less chance of fatality. 

rikimaru focuses a lot on chakra control and dojutsu for weapons, although he is proficient in taijutsu. ANBU rank. 26 years old. leader of the azuma clan. protector of the current kazekage.

-- born into the azuma clan, a clan with a long history in sunagakure, ayame rose through the ranks quickly due to her talent and intelligence. she made ANBU rank the same time as her clan brothers, rikimaru and tatsumaru. when tatsumaru defected and decimated his former clan, rikimaru and ayame were sent out to kill him and dispose of his body to protect the clan jutsu.

ayame focuses a lot on her dual kodachi and taijutsu for her weapons. ANBU rank. 22 years old. second in command of the azuma clan. adoptive mother of kiku.
