I hate this one. It' rare that I viscerally hate something like that. But I'm not doing Inktober to do everything perfect.

Still I really hate it and don't want to look at it too much so I'm going to shut up about it now.

Inktober 2022, Day 08 - Match - Fives and Hevy

A lil' bit of clones. I love them so much. Here it's Fives (I added him too much beard :( ) and Hevy having an arm wrestling match.

This one took too long to finish so now I'm several days late. Still a lot of fun though. It's a fanart for Flesh & Steel (a super cool fanfic written by @kotic-kryptid).

Inktober 2022, Day 06: Bouquet - Grievous' true love

This time I'm not sorry.

I've used sketching paper, pencils and Artline pens.

Finale version, much more photoshopped than my usual inktober: Improved constrast, grey fill and obviously the lightsaber "blades".

Inktober 2022, Day 04: Scallop - Maul's nightmare...?

I'm sorry. I read scallop and immediately thought of Obi-Wan cutting Maul. So I just tweaked it to fit the theme better and here we are.

I've used sketching paper, pencils, Artline pens and one promarker for the tatoos.

The final version, photoshopped to improve contrast and add the grey fills/shade.

This one suffered a bit too much shading during the inking process, but oh well, I'm still happy.

Inktober 2022, Day 03: Bat - Obi-Wan Harrington or Steve Kenobi?

Day 3 of my Star Wars themed Inktober.

The theme is Bat. Struggled to find an idea and I had less than 2 hours to come up with something, sketch it and ink it. Eventually settled on a well-known picture in which I replaced a lightsaber with a bat.

As usual, I've used sketching paper, pencils for sketching and Artline pens.

Now, 2 important things:

Don't let me fool you into thinking I've drawn this free hand in less than 2 hours. I did trace the outline of Obi-Wan in pencil so I could focus on inking and shading.

I made a mistake and ended up cutting a small piece of paper and pasted in to hide the mistake. Ngl, it's very discreet but still visible. Can you find it?

This up here is the final version processed through Photoshop. I've:

Added the light grey fill to the bat

This is the original drawing with improved contrast. The tiny piece of paper is slightly more visible here.

Tbh, my 3 first inktober drawings are not very different after being photoshopped, but believe me, there will come a day where the differences are glaring. It can only last so long before I make a huge mistake.

Inktober 2022, Day 02: Scurry - A nydak's hunt

... I missed day 2 because I fell asleep, so I drew it on day 3 alongside the real day 3 inktober drawing. Today I'm posting both. I'm still having a Star Wars themed Inktober, and this time it's Flesh & Steel themed (an amazing Star Wars fanfiction by @kotic-kryptid).

For day 02, the theme was Scurry. That made me think of chapter 20 of F&S, where a certain character is running away from a Nydak. Not going to spoil much more than that.

I'm still using sketching paper - instead of Ink paper - and Artline pens (in addition the the pencils I use for sketching the idea before proceeding to inking)

This up there is the "final" version that I've processed through Photoshop. I've:

Improved contrast of the shitty picture of the original,

Added the gray fill on the character and ground.

The rest is on the original paper version.

Inktober 2022, Day 01: Gargoyle - Lotho Minor Maul

So I may participate in Inktober 2022... Let's see if I manage it. Decided to go for a Star Wars/Maul/Flesh&Steel themed Inktober (F&S is an amazing fanfiction by @kotic-kryptid. You can find it here. Read it. Dew it) For day 01, the theme was Gargoyle. I immediately thought of Lotho Minor Maul so here it is.

I've used sketching paper (... not great for ink work), Artline pens of different sizes and 1 old ProMarker for the tatoos

So up here is the "final" version. With the help of Photoshop. I've:

Improved contrast on the shitty picture I took of the original,

Changed the signature placement,

Added a light gray fill to Maul and the platform,

Faded the edges.

The rest is on the original paper version.

I think it's important to talk about what's Photoshopped or not, even for drawing.
