Hi 😊 thanks for the tag @tangents-within-tangents (not sure it was actually meant for me, but I'm always happy to yap about clones)

From In Our Brothers We Trust, I've picked Titch (CT-1880), my Corrie Medic OC, because he's grumpy and sassy and I love him (he's a lot like Kix, just with the sass levels turned way up)

Batchmates with Kosmos (who is killed by the Zillo beast in canon, but survives in this AU - The Beast from Below), the rest of their batch is all still alive, just not stationed on Coruscant

CMO of Strike Company (Riot Legion, Coruscant Guard), under Commander Thorn. Strike is also where Cutup gets assigned, and Titch develops a strong friendship with his little brother, despite his general grumpiness. It's mostly down to the fact that he has to see Cutup more frequently, and Cutup will actually sit still and let him do his job most of the time

He's absolutely allergic to admitting that he cares, but like most medics, he has a heart of gold and a soft spot a mile wide when it comes to his brothers, especially his little brothers. See aforementioned relationship with Cutup - 'If Titch ever admitted to having favourites, Thorn was sure Cutup would be at the top of the medic's list...' (IOBWT, Chp. 6)

'Though he be but little, he be fierce' is Titch in a nutshell. He's the smallest of his batch, despite being the oldest, and didn't hit his final growth spurt until after his deployment to the Guard, hence his name (Titch means little/small and he be small)

He'll deny it until he's blue in the face, but he actually kinda likes being smol and when his big brothers call him Titch'ika, it makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside (Thorn is very aware of this, and abuses it sometimes when Titch is being stubborn)

Bonus fact: Titch's favourite drink is the SW equivalent of a dirty chai - sweet and spiced with a shot of caf ❤️

I use the sw maul and sw clones tags and sometimes read them as “sex worker maul/clones” and is that just Tumblr or am I warped?

So, guess who started reading the Republic Commando series at least a year ago and is just starting book three!

Guess who has decided to redesign over 90% of the characters because the author is misogynistic and a big hater of the Jedi (along with a million other things) and it definitely shows in her works as most of the characters are either sexists, Jedi haters, and/or just straight up assholes to everyone. Sometimes the asshole behavior is justified; however there are a lot of times it isn’t. (The au I’m making is helping me get through the other books by the way)

Before I start anything though, I want to just say that I am not a professional character designer or anything of the like, so these rewrites may not be perfect. Feedback is always appreciated! I’m being completely honest here. Please give me opinions, I love hearing them! (Unless it’s just you being a jerk.)

On top of that, I’m going to start small and list off character ages and pronouns to start off on. This is more of a rough draft to go off of, so things will probably change. The most likely to change will be Kal depending if I want to have how it was in canon, where he was divorced and had three biological kids, or just go with the backstory I’ve made for him that so far just doesn’t involve them. I just didn’t really like how it was done because there’s a section in, I think, the second book where he talks about how his wife was mad that he tried to take one of their children to an active war zone when they were only 8, only to then state multiple times later how one of the reasons why he hates the clones going to war is because he sees them as kids. Skirata in my au wouldn’t do that lmao; he also wouldn’t leave his family, at least not willingly, so he wouldn’t have left to train the clones.

So, I might stick to my backstory I have for him which deeply involves him and his adoptive parent Munin Skirata, which will tie into why he acts and cares so much for the clones.

For the clones, I headcanon that their accelerated aging ends when they reach physically/mentally 18 and stay that way until they’re chronologically 18, where they will then age on slowly at a decelerated pace. I have also stretched out the war immensely, so a lot of characters are going to be older than they ever were in canon. (Or like the few cases like Kal who is younger than he was in canon, though it’s only Kal and I think Walon.)

The only ship/pairing I have in this au from canon so far is Etain and Darman btw. Just not a big fan of all the ships (especially Etain and Darman’s), but I’m determined to make at least Etain and Darman’s better. I’m very likely not going to add the pregnancy arc thing because Etain literally baby trapped Darman, which I feel like was written in on purpose to make you hate Etain more. Doesn’t mean that Venku won’t exist in this au, he’ll just probably be adopted instead.

Oh, also, I made these two gay lmao.

I have only seen a handful of people do anything with this pairing, so I’m pretty sure there’s not an official ship name for them. I’m not very good with coming up with ship names, but for now I’m going to call this Fighterjet. (Or just go with Bardo or something idk)

Not sure if I’m going to add it into the au though. Might just be something I do for fun on the side.

I will post a few snippets to start slowly developing some of the characters while I develop some of their backstories and characters, but for now, have this. :)

Anyways, this is why wasn’t posting as much lol. That and school, but I’m on break now, so I might get more done, who knows. Also, I am making stuff for Fragmented Memory, it’s just also taking forever.
