Bluuuuuuuue salt wash

Sketching and painting has been such a struggle these last weeks. Tired and depressed. Cant really manage to start anything new, so i also try to finish a piece now months old and am really not doing well with that either!! Here is that new thing i started. Looks ok but not really feeling it. That older piece is the glacier piece, having such problems depicting the inside of a cave! And now i picked new colors that dont match. I *actually* think i ruined it. Not a soggy wah wah artist ruin, but like actually ruined haha

Heyoooooooooo so i heard it's #nationalbirdday !!!! Here are some of my older #birdwhisperer pieces to celebrate! I am starting to get a plethora of birdies in my portfolio thanks to the birdwhisperer project hehehe

LOOOOOOOOOK what i got!!! This beautiful book by @ericalynschmidt! It has a #birdwhisperer project guest section, which includes a painting by yours truly! My Silvery-Cheeked hornbill piece :D You can get your copy at erica's website!! It also has some sketches, tutorials, and finished paintings!

HEY GUYS GUESSGUESSGUESSWHATWHAT GUESS WHAT i got..... prints! I got prints!!!! I have beautiful 8.5 x 11 kinda glossy thick cardstock makesawiggilynoisewhenyoushakethem prints!!!!! Of this painting, and of another favorite of mine.... :P they're about to go up in my shop and i figure because they are first editions i will make them 10% off for a limited tiiiiiime

I finally finished my november #birdwhisperer piece!! This is "Honeyeater", a bird species that is a blue faced honeyeater. So i also painted in some honeybees, along with carnations and those lovely mushroooooooms!!! I am pretty proud of the composition, i really took my time with it and i hope you all think it came out good too. Kinda different for me, so exciting! 8 x 10 inches watercolor

Beginnings of november's #birdwhisperer piece I'm pretty dang excited with how its coming out!!! Finally got some time in my "office" hahaha tried out a new location today! So new the location doesnt even pop up! #sbuxriverrd And my "secretary" brianna was in too. She needs to pick up my dry cleaning.

Throwback to last yearish when i painted @samuelflegal hahahaha. I think its a pretty good representation :P and actually a favorite of mine i was really happy with how the grass and cape turned out. Keep meaning to post more often but i got a job so a lot less time for art and posting fun stuff in general. But its Thanksgiving so i gotta say im thankful for having a job at least, as well as roof over my head and all that. Also thankful for having gone to the One Fantastic Workshop last year, and hopefully again next year!!! Really really wanna try to!! I have some great memories of eating Mexican with Peter Mohrbacher and friends, trying homemade beer, going to get Vietnamese (i think) with sam, allen panakal, and gavin valentine, not to mention tons of memories and crits and all that. Kristina carroll gave me some watercolor paper. Tawny fritz gave me a handshake "workshop" :P all important memories to think back on and keep me going. I hope all of you have super important memories as well, that you cherish and can think back on in a tough situation. Maybe you can share in the comments if you want! Now go eat lotsa food

Trying to decide which of these paintings looks better in the frame. I only have one like this pretty filigree! Well, i also have a gold one. But getting side tracked. SO which do you think looks better? I was about to list one in my etsy, either would be 30 if anyone is interested!!! In time to ship for the holidays ;)
