they really gave us all the tropes we wanted in season three huh, like for starters we’ve got the enemies to tentative friends to actual friends trope; the “i’ll only call you by your last name so when i suddenly call you by your first name, it’ll be all the more dramatic and meaningful” trope; the “soft character finally reaching their breaking point and almost murdering the antagonist, only to snap out of it when their love interest close friend runs onto the scene” trope; the “use your signature moves together to kick ass” trope; the old rivals finally working together trope, i mean honestly, we asked and they dELIVERED

Miguel Diaz is the most tragically-relatable character bc while he does have rage pent up from being bullied and having an underprivileged background his real fatal flaw is that he just wants to stay friends with all his friends even if they’ve changed drastically or they all hate each other

In s4, Miguel uses Johnny’s laptop to look something up for a school project only to be confronted with 1000 open tabs and 99% of those are ad pop ups and the rest are google searches like “how help son when son hate me and make me fell bad” and “do still eat cheese when cheese has green stuff on it”

Can we talk about Johnny’s character development? Going from “No mercy” to trying to stop Kreese? And getting angry when Miguel went too far? Saying “Oh great. More immigrants.” when first meeting Miguel but then in season 2 correcting Kreese when he called Miguel a Mexican? I have never seen better character development.
