Uhhhhhhhh... Did Tumblr delete/reorganize some of my posts, or did I actually forget to pop on here and casually mention that I'm pregnant again? If it's the latter, sorry, bit of an oversight on my part lmao. Happy 2026, everyone! I'm still alive, I'm due in two months, it's a girl, and I'm still figuring out what kind of weeaboo-ass name I'm going to give her. Big brother is 100% in full toddler mode, btw, which is exhausting but developmentally appropriate, so, y'know, good stuff I guess. (Genuinely, he's a lot of fun, just that he completely lacks emotional regulation at this age, and 30 weeks is a bit too pregnant for me to deal with it.) Haven't really done anything else worth mentioning, except get diagnosed with gestational diabetes, which is *totally fun.* Still active on Discord if you wanna chat. Heck, email's cool too. Still got the same phone number as when I was a teenager, if any of you cool kids wanna send me mysterious texts. Hope you're all well! Glad to see some of you are still posting away, at very least. Keep up the good work. See you again probably before my kids are in college, but, y'know, no promises.

Well, I've popped back onto Tumblr again just to look at fanart, and it's worse than ever. I'm getting *a lot* of content recommended to me that I actively dislike. Is there a way to block communities? Other than just telling Tumblr I'm not interested, over and over?

Also seeing what my friends have liked *can* be nice, but look, if they wanted me to see it then they'd have reblogged it.

I might actually start an entirely new blog so that the algorithm doesn't have anything to chew on.

Just here to see if I can find a picture I posted ages ago, to use for my NaNoWriMo project cover, but like... how do I ever access my blog anymore? This is a semi rhetorical question; I will figure it out. But really though. Why's it always look different every time I sign in? EDIT: found the art piece! One of the reasons I still love Tumblr. Now please wish me luck as I desperately attempt to remember how to write.

Been reading Heir Apparent by Eloarei wherein Baby Noct is being raised by teen Ignis and Gladio after the fall of Insomnia. In their flight from the fallen city the makeshift family ended up with a lovely very fluffy chocobo Gladio dubbed Priscilla "Prissy. Babies/toddlers will fall asleep freaking anywhere in the oddest positions so I can just see a naptime like this happening

Apparently I only get on Tumblr when I'm absolutely desperate to find fanart (usually for niche stuff), so here I am! (I may babble about fandom, but on the other account most likely.)

Want a little update? As you can see, I'm still alive. Somehow. I've had a tooth infection for possibly like a year now, and finally got it diagnosed recently. Well, turns out the one I got a root canal on 3 years ago? Yeah, it cracked. So now my only option is extraction, which I'm doing tomorrow. Not enthused about that, or about the roughly $7k price tag to get an implant, but that will be months later, at least.

Also, my baby is now very distinctly a toddler. He's so cute and funny, greatest little guy in my life, the only thing that really matters to me <3 He's also a huge handful, constantly, but that's how he's supposed to be, so it's okay.

Currently staying at my old house (used to rent from the in-laws before we bought ours), because our place needs the bathroom floor pretty much completely removed and rebuilt. Like, it was squishy. Ick. I'm liking being here again, and frankly I'd like to move back in (bro in law was living here until recently but he's getting his own place), but I don't think the in-laws are gonna go for it.

My writing has kind of suffered since we moved, coinciding with a health decline because of this tooth, but I'm hoping/expecting to go back to enthusiastically finishing my longfics soon.

so this European clothing retailer decided to advertise their jean cuts on youtube and it's unintentionally the funniest shit I've seen today. why? well.

now important context here: in German, die (pronounced 'dee') is just a feminine article, it literally means "the".

but if an ad gets placed in the middle of an English video and doesn't use a single explicitly German word for most of the ad, even a native speaker is gonna think "they want me to die how?" it keeps getting funnier.
