Celestia, Luna and Cadence redesign

•Celestia and Luna are meant to look like they’ve completely evolved past being ponies. Their bodies lean more into cheetahs and stags

•Celestia has more of a lions mane than a horses mane

•Celestia’s pattern on her back and face is inspired by dappled sunlight going through trees. I also gave her a jade palette purely for the fun of it

•the swirls in Luna’s hair are meant to emulate Starry Night

•in my other mlp designs Unicorns has patterns running up their legs. Celestia is inspored by henna, and Luna more by baroque architecture

•i HATE Cadence’s canon palette (although I hate all cool tone pinks) so here shes based on a wedding cake :)

(Didn’t realise Luna’s horn and inspiration was on another canvas, here 😅)
