If you love a flower, don’t pick it up. Because if you pick it up it dies and it ceases to be what you love. So if you love a flower, let it be. Love is not about possession. Love is about appreciation.”

(not so) black forest.
Kaiserstuhl (Winter) - Germany
A small range of hills with volcanic origin called Kaiserstuhl (engl. Emperor’s Chair). Located at the center of the Upper Rhine Valley between Germany (Black Forest) and France (Vosges Mountains), it belongs to one of the biggest wine producing regions. To make work a little bit easier a big part of the landscape was rearranged into small and big terraces between 1950 and 1980. It’s one of the warmest regions in Germany and offers almost mediterranean climate. The closest bigger city is Freiburg.

Wild-Gutach Valley - Black Forest (Germany)
This is really one of the most magical places I’ve seen this winter season. No mobile phone connection in the middle of nowhere at the heart of the mystical Black Forest.

Been away for a while, got a new piece. Named it Yukiyu (the taino god of the wind) the design in fron of the bowl is actually its taino symbol. When my friend gave it to me as a christmas gift he told me: " dont ever forget your roots, mor your buds"
Comentaries on the life of a stoner: excess
We all love to blaze, roll, pack, re pack, bake and get high. But when is it enough? When does it become monotony?
We've been smoking a lot these days. Kinda feeling like we should do something besides get high and gaze off to the stars.
I took this concern to my brother Pequeño Juan and he agreed. So now, after we blaze, we go to a restaurant and try out the food, a different restaurant for each time we smoke. I've always wanted to be a food critique and that's why I studied culinary arts, apart from my passion for good food. It is something new we are trying out. We analyze the whole service, starting from the greeting and ending with the food, I pay attention to everything then teach Juan what should we expect from looking at the menu.
It is a good activity to do with friends and getting high before doing it makes it even better. We don't care who notices, we don't care who discriminates us. We are high and very very hungry...
Handmade Japanese Chef Knives The above picture shows the different phases of the production of a Nipponblades knife. At the very beginning it is just a piece of metal. This piece of metal is heated and beaten in the correct shape with the pneumatic hammer. After much of turning, heating, cooling down and beating it slowly turns into a handmade Japanese Chef Knife. You can check the end result on www.nipponblades.com.
