All I can say from this as soon as Anakin can’t see his face, Obi-wan looked so gutted and just like Obi-wan can feels Anakin’s deep anger, Anakin also probably can feels the sadness and dejected feeling Obi-wan have in that moment because his expression changing so fast following Obi-wan’s leaving his room.

I’ve been seeing incorrect information about lightsabers and their colors / meanings so as a Star Wars nerd of 15 years, I would like to provide accurate information for oc creators or people who are just interested in knowing about lightsabers!

Blue Lightsabers -These are the Jedi Guardians -They focused on practical application of the Force -Highly skilled in combat -They were the first to leave the Temple to take an active role in conflicts -Their recommended training was 3 hours a day -Training consisted of running, lightsaber practice, and unarmed combat

Red Lightsabers -These are the Sith -Consumed by the Dark Force of the Force -Ferocious and unyielding in combat -Kyber Crystals are either synthetic or turned red by causing a fallen Jedi’s crystal to bleed by pouring their malice and anger into it

Green Lightsabers -These are Jedi Consulars -Exceptionally powerful in the Force -Often found in the Temple waging battle through mediation -Will fight when absolutely necessary -They were Healers, researchers, and seers

Yellow Lightsabers -These are the Jedi Sentinel -They’re extremely rare -Known to develop valuable skills outside the purview of the Force -Exhibits traits of both Guardian and Consular -They’re not often seen or used because the wielder of a yellow blade is so strong and skilled they don’t need to deploy it

White Lightsabers -White blades occurs when a bleeding Kyber Crystal is purified -They denote no affliction to Jedi or Sith, but signifies a pure Light Side Force user -Exceedingly rare -Only two are known to exist, and Ahsoka wields them both.

Orange Lightsabers -Very rare -Negotiators, selfless, and are opposed to violence -The Kyber Crystal isn’t actually a Kyber, but is known as a Kohlen Crystal / a Fools Kyber (as stated in the Star Wars novel Master & Apprentice) -It possessed the same heft as a Kyber, and even some vibration with the Force -They were ostensibly referred to in an ancient prophecy made by a Jedi mystic which stated that “When the Kyber which is not Kyber shines forth, the time of prophecy will be at hand.”

Purple / Violet Lightsabers -These were originally introduced at the request of Samuel L. Jackson who didn’t want to blend in at the Battle of Geonosis -Known to use Dark Side techniques in battle while serving the Light Side of the Force -In Legends, sometimes the lightsaber was used by a former Sith who has turned to the Light Side

did the jedi have master-teacher conferences? (like parent-teacher conferences but with padawans). i’m sure they always reported to qui-gon that obi-wan was “a pleasure to have in class”

obi-wan just takes a shot before anakin’s conferences and brings the rest of the bottle for the teacher. extra points when obi-wan meets with the galactic diplomacy teacher whose class anakin’s been skipping all semester.

How much do I love this scene?

Palpatine so incredulous, challenging, of Vader’s ‘I have felt him’. Because he doesn’t actually want Darth Vader to have any sort of influence over or connection to Luke, and that’s the only thing ‘I have felt him’ means.

That means there is a BOND. It means that Darth Vader doesn’t just have a connection to someone else, but that someone else has a connection to him and could potentially influence him (has been, for four years, no matter how apathetic Vader became in the year since Bespin).

Palpatine doesn’t actually want Darth Vader to be turning Luke, because while the Sith way means the apprentice eventually killing the master, that’s only until the master isn’t in control anymore. And Vader having a connection to or turning Luke means Palpatine has less control over Vader. His death, inevitably, is coming.

#the thing about Sidious is that he’s a classic abuser#his method of keeping Anakin/Vader under his control always involved isolating him from his loved ones#the lie he tells Vader after he wakes up in the suit is the epitome of this#he knew that if Anakin had anyone close to him left at ALL#that this would pose at the very least *some* threat to his control over him#but even so he totally underestimated just how incredibly POWERFUL this particular bond would be#so powerful and so intimate that he would not even be able to *sense* it!!#and you can see in this scene how this realization shakes him#Sidious is experiencing the closest thing to fear that he’s probably felt in the entirety of his evil existence#Anakin’s personal attachments have always been his most powerful motivator#and so if ‘Vader’ has such a strong and IMPENETRABLE bond with ‘the son of Skywalker’#then it can only mean one thing:#he is still ANAKIN SKYWALKER (x)

There is definitely something of Anakin left in him. Sidious didn’t manage to rob him of that part of himself, in the end.

a baby can be born right now at 12:00, on a wednesday, august 24 in new jersey while another baby is also born in the exact same moment but they are born 9:00, on a tuesday, august 23 in california, these babies that are born at the same moment are technically because of time zones, a concept that we created ourselves, born “hours” apart even though really they are born at the same moment just not the same “time”, one will be considered older even though in actuality they are the same
