I didn't really have a big desire to move after everything that I had experienced where I wasn't settled despite having a place in LA. But honestly I think I could do New York versus LA because it's a closer flight to back home if we really had to in an emergency. And I really don't want her growing up in LA anyway. I wasn't knocking it but I did say you deserved better there's a difference. A library? Okay Belle. Though some of those libraries are pretty nice. Now you're making me Google old libraries for the fuck of it.

Bill: I know it might seem a little strange given how everything had gone down between us; but would you feel comfortable if I had asked Penelope to be her godmother? As for her godfather who the hell knows.

Bill: You two are my whole world. So we'll have a place in New York where she can go to school, we're close to LA (by a five to six hour flight) for our? work stuff. We'll be a five to six hour flight back home to Sweden. This is doable. Yes we did have the big wedding already and like you I don't want to go through that again myself. I'd say we could go to the courthouse but that's tacky af and you deserve better than that. You always have.

Bill: Huh. Here's another random thoughts.. you never did pick out Klara's godparents did you?

Bill: Well after the blood starts going from my one head to the other I just give up.

Bill: I love you, I love Klara and any decision I'm making it's with both of you in mind. Would you be opposed to possibly spending summers in Sweden and on school holidays? When you brought up moving, something I'm not opposed to by the way, I was going to ask you if you ever saw us getting married again. Too soon to be thinking that, I'm aware. Well that makes sense. Again I don’t know how you find my nerdiness is attractive. I thought you were fucking with me when you said that back problems present themselves in taller people. Well fucking hell. Get ready for a lifetime of massage my back then. I’m surprised it hasn’t happened already, the back pain. Also, you’re quite tall for a woman so it’s possible you might have the same thing as me. I don’t know. I’m not an expert in this. It depends on how far gone my mind is as I get older. But they do say that doing puzzles and things keep your mind sharp. So we’ll see how well that goes. I do struggle in that department because I’m stubborn. I’m surprised you haven’t wanted to slap me some days for how I act. Funny thing is everyone else was getting asshole Bill while I was sober.

 You just can never take a compliment in general. We’ll have to work on that, silly. I wasn’t? Did you Google it? I honestly read that somewhere. I can’t remember where. I just recall it. Nope, not me. I couldn’t possibly when I do Pilates and Yoga every other day. If you would join me then you’d be safe too. Guaranteed. You have a thing for imagining the worst possible outcomes. See, that’s exactly how I say it. it’s not that I’m not a fan or even dislike them but sometimes after a while you crave a little bit to normalness. some of my good friends say the same thing, mine is I haven’t even had kids, but I can sort of relate, I guess mines just more of an age thing.

  It’s just a bit much at times. A tad bit unrealistic even. The holiday blues are such a real thing. Last year was horrid for me, but thankfully it’s picked up since then. I had kids before I planned truthfully, but yes. I think it comes with age too.

We can learn together. Did you not have your mom to share things with? Though I suppose that’s a bit different than sharing it with your partner. I’m not stressing over it, I’ve stopped doing that. I’d talk about books but that would be word vomit just like my talk of puzzles so I’m going to leave it alone if I’m honest. It’s easier. When we’re old and gray which is years from now you can hit me with your cane and tell me to shut up about puzzles. Oh man I hope when I’m old and gray I can still do them. Sometimes I do say hurtful things because I speak without thinking. That’s why I’m trying hard to communicate better and if I need time to think about what I want to say; I say so so the other person doesn’t get unkind me. Maybe with you it’s different because we’ve known each other for what seems like forever. Where you pick up on my moods, knowing how to deal with them and me. Everyone else gets asshole Bill when I’m in a mood. 

  Of course I did, but as you said, It’s not the same. My mom wasn’t here all the time either. She only came when it really dire. I didn’t want to overwork her. You can be such a nerd sometimes. It’s absolutely adorable. Never be ashamed. Bold of you to assume I’d be the one with the cane. It’d probably be you considering how tall you are. Back problems usually present themselves in taller individuals. Those are the facts. I’m sure you’ll still be able to do puzzles when you’re old though. I don’t see why not. I’m happy to know that. It’s important for everyone to improve on things they can. I know you struggle in that department. Yeah, I can tell when to back off and wait for you to realize how mean you are. Well, I don’t want anyone else getting asshole Bill.
